See, I'm being patient by recognizing this is a good project and not bugging anyone about it. I'd like this to come out as soon as it's ready, but I don't really care when it's ready.

Thats epic, and I made a halo 3 ODST pod in halo 3 forge.
Oh, and Ive read 2 of the halo books, read the entire halo encyclopedia so I know exactly what the pod should be like, and played through Halo 3 odst 4 times, so does that make me eligible to beta test? I also have minor experience with GUI editing.

try and guess. it's one of my experiments.
Hint: Read some of my earlier posts (including the ones outside this thread) that everyone ignores.
edit: or if your really lazy, just look through the texture files in the addon. Also, it's a sprite not a particle.

So, for a minor report from my testing: The hud works great, but still needs a graphical overhaul. The one thing I would like to see done immediately, is a fix for the camera. it keeps trailing behind the pod in a very choppy way.

actually, that's not my problem. another beta tester had that problem too but he didn't when he removed all his other addons which means that another addon is conflicting with the pod.

and this is why you didn't get picked:
1. you get jealous that someone else got picked and not you
2. you annoy me by sending me random stuff and by begging me to be a beta tester
3. you don't seem to care much about actually helping
4. the above arguments say that i think you care more about getting to get the pod before release and getting in the credits than actually wanting to help improve the pod. when i said no to everyone else they just got over it and didn't whine. i hope you learned something from this, and if you didn't, maybe you will next time.
Edit: also, he joined before you so i don't see how you're argument is valid
I honestly don't see much of a difference in the pod, apart from the glowing blue light and the HUD, which looks pretty good.

i included a test map where the launcher is already spawned. also if you drag the launcher to where the pod says the distance is 4000, it won't let you launch.
Edit: oh, have you guessed what the blue dot is?
Edit:oh, and when you are in manual mode, you need to press shift to fire the thrusters.
Well, I did only spend around 5 minutes with it :P I was in a hurry...and I forgot about the minimum distance, that's there. No I have not guessed what it is, I'm still extremely confused by it.

it's 4000, next time you test, tell me if it's ok, should be higher or should be lower.
