expressions in wiremod have a completely different purpose than this
I didn't comment on the purpose, I commented on you pointing out "it's dumb to mix a high level language with stack based stuff" followed by it's a bad idea. (Wasn't even thinking about expression 2, I was thinking about the CPU and GPU gates since they are stack based)
We could have an endless pointless discussion about how pointless things are and end up with the point of life itself, but I'd rather not since it's pointless.
Wiremod has gotten a lot of people into at least the concept of programming by providing scripting languages in lua. Wiremod is a great idea and it has had a great point in garrysmod. I see this as a tool for people to get into the concept of scripting languages.
Guys, The entientiel in this is that its a PoC , People may now, as well as they may not , Want to use this to their wish's, If you dont like this work, You have 2 options: Make your own, Or get out.
I personnaly think it has as much use as the scriptter can give it, Just like with generic lua, And expression 2.
So please take into consideration that this must of been alot of hard work, Trial an error, To be released among the Lua community, So don't shoot a guy down for comming up with a new concept.
As long as James learned something out of this, we should be happy. Maybe this is useless or not, but damn, someone always has to make a big deal out of it.
I agree with Persious. And also I kinda like the idea and I have tried to make somehting like this but what I truslly like is that this project is open-source and people can study it. It is great experience for novice and professional coders alike.

There will always be one person bitching about how said creation sucks and don't offer any help on saying what needs to be improved.

also I like it must of been fun to develop
Lua in GMod is already slow, a language interpreted in Lua would be even slower.

Expression 2 totally slow.
To be honest I didn't post it here so people could use it, I posted it here so people could go through the sourcecode and learn from it.
Yeah James, I appreciate everything within this code. Neat to learn from, and experiment.
If I were to script this in C++ and put it in another thread, would you all be happy? I've not got much time to do this, because I'm starting to work on another project now, but I'm sure I can squeeze it in with the little time and c++ skill I have.

I wouldn't waste your time. No offense, but it's not really at a point where it's of use yet, more of a raw learning experience.
