How am I supposed to detect the controller automatically? Is there a module or something like that?

Hey um im kinda a noob so can u tell me how can i bind the keys and how to start it up when i started single player it gave me a lua error for to many syntax or somthing. -thanks in advance- ~john~

Second of all, copy and paste the exact error message - "to many syntax" is very vague, and useless without a line number. Third of all, to bind keys, type in console: [code]bind <keyname> <commandname>[/code] <keyname> is something like h, or j, or space. <commandname> will be something like +sp_turnleft.

is there any way you could make it so you can press a button and it switch players and use the same W A S D controls? (I like to mess around with wire player stuff and I have a crappy graphics card so if i play multiplayer it will crash)
I FORGOT: [B]enable_split true/false[/B] to enable the splitscreen! You will be able to put it in your server, players can just do that command to enable it. Anyway, I have no idea what causes that because: 1° I don't have it 2° It works just fine.

Yes, my bad, I meant don't sign. I can't be bothered to download the code, so post the function or whatever at line 386 of splitscreen.lua and I'll take a look.
Btw, If you are using a Vista, the xbox 360 controller is compatible with it. I played golden eye 64 on Project 64 a while ago with my controller.

For those who hasn't read, this is compatible for [B]Singleplayer[/B] and [B]Multiplayer[/B], whoever is in just needs to type [B]enable_split true[/B]. If you and a friend online have friends at home and you wanna play with them you can create a server and both you and your online friend can play splitscreen. I have an idea, a thridperson command for it, like sp_thridperson, that will set the 2nd person in thridperson and how about more than 2 players, like 4, if you can. [editline]10:45AM[/editline] oh and a q menu for 2 players
