Two day bump.
Just having the addon in the addons folder causes my Gmod to drag down to 2fps but reducing host_timescale to lower figures such as 0.1 and 0.2 brings my FPS back up to about 80.
Something is definitely wrong, maybe a recurring loop. Also you might want to look into the FOV of the screens.

This usually means that no button or axis was bound to the input.

Could you do something like, I don't know, make another keyboard and mice pair show up as a joystick? Then use xpadder or something to emulate the key presses?

Keyboard is not a problem. Like someone is moving on standard WSAD, and someone on IKJL or Numpads.
You can use twices mouse too. You can find app to emulate Mices from USB or PS2 OR you can get a COM port mouse.
