If I do, it'll be a serverside cvar. It's also worth mentioning that the scavgun should be compatible with all prop protection systems because it must pass the physgun pickup hook, which is covered by all prop protect systems.

You really shouldn't ask twice about the same thing in a short period. You already asked and you basically said the same thing in your second post. Be patient and someone will probably answer you. Just take your time and try to connect to the GM. I would but I don't have my PC and this laptop can't play games so well.

When I am done with Scavenger Deathmatch and the Scavenger Cannon, they will be released separately, as a gamemode and an addon, respectively. Scavenger Deathmatch requires the Scavenger Cannon addon, but not vice-versa.

Got a quick little update for you guys:
Finished the scavgun world model, have to fix up the bump maps and get some custom arms to use for the view model. Also, have this screenshot of me screwing up in the export process:

Lastly, I've mostly finished the HUD for capture the flag:

If you're wondering why the HUD looks the way it does, it's because CTF will play a little differently in Scav DM. In order to win, you need to control all flags at once, and they can be stolen back. I'm going to be doing some serious playtesting with this once I get it fully working, and if it turns out to be too unconventional I'll use the standard CTF gametype, but I have some real hope in the concept.

Are you any good with UnrealScript? I'm learning to map with (now-free) UnrealEd3, and if we can get a modeler and a texture artist we could turn this into a full-fledged indie game.

I don't believe the scavgun has had any such feature, but I can certainly add some visual hint about something like that

I've been discussing a similar idea with a friend of mine. While I don't have any experience in UnrealScript, it's something I've been seriously considering.
Oh yeah, I updated the first post with some new images, a new video, and a slightly updated description.
This should be included in a future gmod update.
That's how epic this is.
Still looking awesome, and still awaiting release.
