Yes, I got that bug too. I'm going to make another melon, anyone got any ideas?

I'm making a warmelon that eats other warmelons, then explodes when it gets too full.
Har, my melon ate me. Must make sure that does not happen again.

Gobbler melons and Jihad melons in one pack! I'll keep all my melons in packs from now on, it'll make it easier to add to the old ones. Oh, there's nothing new about the jihad melons, so don't redownload if you don't want the gobbler melons. I don't see why you wouldn't.

When you dupe a cannon it becomes a fighter of the same team, and when you dupe a medic it becomes the white team.
Setting force on a medic make them have a lot more health(maybe there healing themselves)

I've added particle effects to the medics, now you get a little burst of red particles coming from the melon that gets healed. Also these errors will be addressed soon. In the meantime, what do you people want to see next in the way of new weaponry? Also, give me feedback on these cannons. I want to know if they need balancing, or changing or anything.
Also, the medics do heal themselves, that's intended. Besies combat repair, medics are there so that if you get any wear and tear ie accidental damage, your medics will make sure they're fresh for the battle.
Duplicator works fine for the Fighters, but the cannons turn into fighters and the medics lose their colour(the others don't).

That should be fixed now, but I've not tested it or anything. I'll go test it now.

Yeah, the duplication errors are fixed now, as is the medics with force error.

I would suggest a tracker missile melon and maybe a melon core that you place inside a ship or base. When this core is shot it explodes, but it deals great damage and a fairly big radius which takes down the whole ship and or base.

i don't know what you think about this but what about a tank melon that have more life and is a bit bigger, either it has better attack damage or it could have less, your choice
I finished the core idea.
This entitie takes down over 150hp and has a radius a little smaller than the explosive barrel.
I would like a tool that can change any prop's team so the melons not only shoot at the other melons but also at the hull.

How about a fireball melon, it will shoot a fireball that will catch props on fire for 3 seconds and take 5 seconds to reload? A lazah melon that fires lazahs, maybe make them charge too.
Could you put all the melons in one stool with a drop down menu? It took me a while to notice each type was it's own stool. It could also help keep the menu less cluttered.
I got another idea. What about a melon that is almost like a fighter, but it fires lasors at a slower rate. Wait. Crap. dang it cow thing you beat me to it.
bomber would be cool they drop bombs but after every bombing they have too refuel somewhere at a refuel station or something

That shouldn't be happening, I'll have a look tomorrow, could you use sent_reload and tell me what error pops up? Thanks for the download tell me what you think of them.

Category? Do you mean their own tab in the menu or a stool that has a tab with types? If it is their own tab all you do is this.

Keeping this mod simple and concentrating on the weapons and abilities seems like the sensible thing to do.
The cannons are great but overpowered I think when used in groups, there best used as a main gun on a ship with the fighters as smaller hardpoints.
Excellent mod though keep up the good work, its things like this that keep GarrysMod interresting.

They're perfectly valid ideas, but they seem a little complicated. Maybe in a later version.
Also, right now I'm working on a STOOL that turns any entity you like into a target for Warmelons. The prop will be targeted as if it were a warmelon, and like normal melons you can set their team. So if your battleship has a power core, which is just a barrel or something, you can shoot it with the STOOL, and enemy melons will try and destroy it.

Cool, thanks. I didn't know it was automatic. Next version will also feature a custom Warmelons category. If you make any custom STOOLS, it's advised that you put them in the "(WarMelons)" category. The brackets are to make sure it's at the top. I think special characters come before the alphabet, do they?

It seems wrong to me, like if Garry put PHX and things into Garry's Mod by default. It would be good, but bad. If it's alright with the creators of the custom models I may compile a pack of the custom melons, but my priority remains with the official pack.
I'm a little surprised no one mentioned this even though its simple. Could you maybe add a shotgun fighter? I've already done this, but since you are making an uber mod I would rather you release it.

Ah yes, shotgunners. I've had that idea myself for a short while, but yes, I'll consider that as well.
That is absolutely awesome but if you weld it to a prop, a crate say, and you select moving will it be able to carry the weight or will it sink?If it can't carry the weight how do I make it "fly".
