Oh god I remember this gamemode. Despite it's faults, it was a shitload of fun.

Also all of the projectile weapons in the game have ricochets. There are also 6 special energy weapons in the game. The only things that you will see that were also in Parasite (1) are the needs, the idea, alien spawns, 6 of the Host abilities.
When public betatest will start already? Can't wait for it. :D Also: Do projectile weapons have penetration? That would be useful on some maps to get aliens out of ventilation systems. Also grenades would be really useful but counting that players just LOVE griefing and spoiling game for others, I presume there will be no explosives.
Well every suggested of using madcows_base? it has an penetration system already, all u need to do is change some things i think madcows_base will work very nicely to this gamemode. This game mode kinda reminds me of Alien. Any pump shotguns going to avaliable in this gamemode? any server online yet?
I am really looking forward to this, as i think the original Parasite gamemode sounded awesome, but i never actually played it. Also, i hope the host has a large amount of awesome powers.
I coded my own weapon base. No penetration, just ricochets.

No? Then you'd be stealing nothing. This is just a game, remember. Unless he trademarked something that I don't know about, or copyrighted his LUA files or some shit, then you have no legal reason not to use the name Parasite. In fact, calling it Parasite 2 implies that this is a direct sequel to Parasite, and thus, made by the same person(s). But on another note, I can't wait to try this out. I remember Parasite from a looong time ago and I liked it, so I hope you can do better.

I would hope that you have a shotgun or some close range weapon with you, which leads me to ask Remscar this question: Is there a chance that you might change your mind about the weapons and hopefully add a shotgun?

Only 1 is coded, but its a very POWERFUL gun. Also after 3 beta tests, the testers and i have decided that shooting guns are hard. There are no crosshairs like in almost every mod, instead there is a red laser dot where you are aiming. Combine this and guns that have close to realistic recoil and spread and you have a mod that actually requires skill. Yes i just said the "S" word.

Right now im using a really crappy one that i made which has a ton of bugs. Also melee weapons are kind of pointless because who wants to use a base ball bat in a parasite infection, there's too much exposure to the malicious organisms. Also to everyone, check out the OP near the bottom, might get some of you excited.

Love to background just cant wait to play this cause i love scary gamemodes hopfully it will turn out the best gamemode in Gmod i love to see that cause from the looks of it it gonna totally rock the Gmod world XD
Nice Parasite 2 clone... Well, wait... I guess the origonal WC3 Parasite 2 isn't really that close to a FPS version. But still, there's already a game called Parasite two, that already has all these gaming aspects, and is already popular on WC3. EDIT: Well, the WC3 one didn't have blood trails, but all the other features are the same. Except the obvious FPSness.
