Still, you should always compensate for all resolutions. (Apart from maybe anything lower than 800x600 in which case you flash a big red error saying "Increase your resolution or die" XD)

Another idea that went through my head was to have it continuously auto-scroll downwards and have the list be circular (when you reach the last gamemode in the list it just starts back at gamemodes from the start) so that each gamemode gets the same amount of 'exposure'. As it is now the gamemodes you have to scroll to see technically don't have as much probability of being voted because a lot of people probably don't bother scrolling to see all the gamemodes that could be voted.

Nah, having an auto-scroll would be annoying. Especially if you knew exactly what you wanted.
Easy fix, just make it stop scrolling automaticlaly when the user clicks. Then maybe have a manual scrollbar appear so they can look for themselves.

I removed build to the top since it's super easy to troll/crash the server with it and nobody ever gets past stage 1 without prop surfing.
Also the Facepunch server died because of the infinite angles exploit.

I think there should be a short mouse-hover description with each gamemode; if you mouse over the name it gives you a general idea of what it's like.
*edit* On the gamemode voting, you could take the approach where you select 5 or 6 random gamemodes and only let people choose from that. Gets a lot more gamemodes on the table rather than everyone always going back to the one they think they like.

It's not that. It's because I can never find anything because the list is so long. If they aren't categorized somehow it will be impossible to find anything except for the names you already know. Your eyes will just skim past everything else.
Either randomize it or make it an auto-scrolling list so each gamemode gets the same exposure.
I was thinking about another feature - having player limits for games. IE. the coder chooses an optimal player limit (such as 12) for their gamemode and the vote list is filtered based on how many players there are.
My game mode works in Single Player, Multi Player, but when comes time to put it on the actual dedicated server, it crashes as it switches to the gamemode + map.

Why not post an actual server log? That looks like it's from an addon that might cut some things off like lua errors.

We rated you dumb becuase you are making a gamemode and don't understand that all you posted was some server logging of convars changing and you rcon'ing to change to that gamemode.

Here are the problems with your argument:
- I can join the server and nothing is wrong with Poltergeist.
- Phyght was terrible. Each of the four human classes was their own deal of useless except the mingebag, which could freeze you and light you on fire.
- Not to mention, all of the powers were useless except for the mingebag which could explode (and a very powerful explosion too.)
- The map in Phyght is too big. The humans could easily hide from the props, and the props would be seen coming from a mile away.
Humans:
Scout: Runner, and Avoider
Soldier: Like in TF2
Rocketer: Missiles that follows Props
Defender: Can protect other humans with he's Shotgun
Mingebag:Ignite props and Paralyse it so the other humans can achieve the prop
Powers:
Explode: OH WELL If it's so Useless remove it from Poltergeist...
Freeze:Paralyse the human so you can achieve him
Booster: Same thing in poltergeist
Stealth:Perfect for surprises
Regen: Quite useless
And the Rounds wasn't short in Phyght (14 Minutes) It's Perfect with that map size. And yes barricades was Useful.

Future plans: Our main plan right now is to get a leaderboard for all of the fretta gamemodes. Wins are basically treated as respect, and when you get so many wins you get cool items (Like hats and stuff). I have played on servers before where everyone just cares about money, so they don't try to win the gamemode, just camp and horde money. Hopefully this system will encourage people to actually TRY to win rather than kill massive amounts of people while avoiding the objective (e.g. FortwarsX and CTF).
