Beta, I believe.
If you copy the gamemodes folder over from the beta (excluding sandbox and base), it should work just fine.

Hi, I'm posting here to tell that I'm gonna post soon ( = less than 5 days ) a new GarryWare prototype, the project is called "GarryWare Two", which is meant to replace the original version. It's NOT "GarryWare 2", it's only the name of the project. When it's done it'll replace the stable project repository. [img]http://www.hurricaaanes.info/ai/garryware_two_banner_2.png[/img] It is meant to be a optimized version of the game, in terms of tables and usermessages, anso in terms of player:methods. Also, the HUD had been modified entirely, as well as small aspects of the game (like when you join during a ware, your status will be set on hold until the next minigame, minigames shouldn't stop brutally when time runs out, etc.). The current incomplete unstable SVN revision is here : xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx You need to play "wa_edge" with gamemode override to test it. It currently contains only 4 or 5 rewritten minigames. That's where I'm gonna spend the next 5 days, re-writing all the minigames to fully optimize them. Changes : - HUD is rewritten using DepthHUD Inline Base. - Player methods are more organized. - Combo Medals are rewritten to be handled using player methods. - Usermessage count is lighter when a ware ends / when a player locks his state. - Instructions and "Success !" / "Fail !" / "Everyone won !" / "Everyone failed !" use different methods : Instructions is a string with optional colors, (S/F/EW/EF) are two booleans. If everyone failed at the end due to global state-lock, one usermessage is sent using one player list. - If a ware ends in less than 20 seconds of the game end, the game ends for real. - If a player joins in the middle of a ware, he is put on hold until the next ware. - Minigames use a cleaner way to initialize. - Minigames can individually provide a list of models to the game engine to be sent to clients in initial spawn and be precached. Minigame changes : + Calculate : - Answer is told at the end of the game as an instruction box. + Stand on the missing prop : - You won't know if you're standing on a valid pole until the ware ends. - Laundry machines are nocollided. + Break a chair : - Unbreakable chairs will appear to add to the confusion. + Punt the biggest crate : - Crates spawn high in the air, freefalling, thus preventing the gravity gun loss. - Depending on map size, one to three big crates will appear. + Memorize : - Yellow color was replaced with green color (I don't know at all it it helps for colorblind players). + Don't use HLSS : - Added back into the game. + Don't stop leaping from box to box : - There is now a more equitable condition for success (unrelated to the number of boxes you jumped from to). + Flee : - Rollermine spawning points are flashed out to the player. New minigames : + "Get on the circle with fewest players !" ° Only cycle on games with more than two active players. - Experimental minigame. Guess how you're gonna win this one. + "Keep bumping !" - The opposite of "Avoid the circles !". + "Hit the bullseye most times !" Removed minigames for a while : x Minesweeper. x Catch melons. Perhaps I'll package a nifty fretta derived gamemode. Garry, I'm the fellow who questioned you about certain STool additions, so I'll query you on that hopefully before the fretta inclusion.
I'd say fretta is pretty much ready for a release, all the necessary stuff has been added. As for the gamemodes i've coded, the ones i think that should be included with a final release are: [list][*]King of the Hill - since it's probably one of the more polished and balanced gamemodes. [*]GTA - since it's fairly popular. I dunno if the invisible car glitch got fixed (it had to do with scriptenforcer afaik). [*]Poltergeist - quite popular, although there's only 2 classes for the prop team. [*]Zombie Onslaught - polished, although may need some balance tweaks and a good map. [*]Stalker - ditto [*]Bombtag - Simple and fun.[/list] The rest of the ones i've made are either incomplete, unpopular, or have gameplay issues. Some of the other games on the SVN need work (or possibly need deleting) too. That cactus game uses chatprint WAY too much so you're constantly reading the chatbox.
