Well as far as i know its just one
More websites that promote free, quality content
Less 'sleek' paid shit

1 - 1 = 0

Are you retarded or what?
He's saying that if you're selling a rank in ULX for IRL money then it makes you less credible because you lack integrity then, fucking hell.

I really wasn't sure how I wasn't getting across, started to think that I was making sense ^^
1. Giving argument then basically saying 'my argument is wrong', ergo: reducing price of dev. sub because it's not expensive.
2. What.
3. Get that gay crypto-currency away, mkay?
4. Again, same as above.
5. And how are you gonna do that? You gonna make them swear on god that they ain't gonna sell it?
6. More of crap?
And no, no alternatives to coderhire will work, the market isn't big enought for 2 separate websites fighting each other and if you create a website like this it'll be a back-water coderhire, a place where banned people come to scam even more
i dont know why people are bashing cryptocurrency? i think bitcoin is a good idea
This is probably the worst idea ive seen in a little while (I mean, come on...#3 and #5?)
I'm a laughing because no one excluded #2

Maybe because general idea of 'my 5 real life dolars are worth 10 virtual money' is fishy?
Maybe because general idea of 'my 5 real life dolars are worth 10 virtual money' is fishy?
I know right? It's just as bad as saying 10.00 GBP = 16.6265 USD ... What kind of world do we live in?!?
Maybe because general idea of 'my 5 real life dolars are worth 10 virtual money' is fishy?
And maybe because my 10 virtual money, which once were my 5 real life money, are now 1 real life money.
Currencies will get stronger and weaker as times change. Your arguments are against currencies in general, not just bitcoin.
Okey to get some clarity into this discussion this is why i think it will work:
Why would developers only post to one site?, atleast if someone started an alternative to CoderHire i would have posted my addons on both sites to maximize profit

Well your money on your creditcard is just as virtual as bitcoin, so are you also against creditcards ?
I know right? It's just as bad as saying 10.00 GBP = 16.6265 USD ... What kind of world do we live in?!?
Oh, yeah, because comparing real money to virtual money is same as comparing real money with other real money...
You guys have retarded arguments.
Money on credit card is in fact the real money in bank and can't be above what the bank has, while bitcoin is some virtual thing not stored anywhere but a database.
You might aswell create a website and trade minecraft diamonds
And I am off the conversation, appearently you guys don't even get a simple analogy
You , know a smart person once rote that if an discussion ever gets to the point whete one of the parts says everyone else is retarded, we pretty much know whos won the discussion

Real life currencies are generally more stable than bitcoin.
Isn't one CoderHire-like website doing enough damage to the gmod server community already?
We should start backing our money with gold and silver like we used to do...it would make currencies a lot safer.
Real life currencies are generally more stable than bitcoin.
Agreed, but in principle it's exactly the same. There examples in history (in this example in France) where banks would add an extra zero to bank notes due to inflation. In other words, their 10 Francs would be worth 1 Franc had it not been adjusted.
1. $15 is not expensive and keep in mind, you have 30 days to break even and make profit. I broke even on my first day of selling something and many others have as well; if you are selling something is generic, that is entirely your own fault. An entry fee is also good as it means Coders have to either think about what server owners actually want and dumb kids aren't going to submit any old shit.
2. I have never seen Adam be an asshole to anyone who didn't deserve it; if you leak scripts or try to scam people, that again is entirely your own fault and you don't really get to complain if people are then weary of you.
3. I don't know anything about bitcoins so I can't really answer this
4. See above
5. I'm not sure what you mean by buyers can't resell code? Are you referring to scripts or licensing jobs? The only time I've seen someone post a job and then sell it as a script was an admin mod that got ripped to fucking shreds and had no purchases.
Coderhire works because it has so many good coders working alongside it, i.e Phoenixf129, Kamshak, CrapHead, Rocketmania, Handsome Matt (and most importantly ME). Unless you have contributors who are known in the gmod community, you may struggle to take off.
If you want to start your own alternative to Coderhire, you need to give people reason to use it instead. And it can't just be reasons you personally like. By this I mean, you can't just say 'oh you should use my site because I think Adam's an asshole' because not everyone agrees with you.
As I said when Coder-Launch was a thing, instead of making a site like Coderhire, try and do something unique and that will benefit the Gmod community; maybe a resource websites, an alternative to the Steam Workshop, tutorials, etc.

I don't think you can criticize bitcoin if you don't understand it, and its clearly from this post that you don't. Granted the OP is an idiot who has expectations that are unrealistic due to lack of programming knowledge but bashing something that has the potential to help millions of people i.e bitcoin without even a basic understanding is idiotic so in my eyes you are coming off just as stupid as the OP.
So hold on, I have a pitchfork ready. Are we bashing crypto-currencies or Coderhire?
Cryto-Hire...

US Dollar = real life ( government can just print more money to suit their needs )
pointshop points = virtual (can be created out of thin air to suit the creator's needs)
cryptocurrency = digital ( decentralized, the blockchain prevents any duplicated/spoofed transactions - bitcoins can not be created out of thin air, and are in limited supply )
enjoy your counterfeited paper dollars while I sit here with my bitcoins securely locked away on a hard drive

No kidding. I break even on my first, let alone the first day. Coderhire is a great website with active moderation and development, can't really see a reason for an alternative as of yet.

Competition, to improve and better the sites as they would be competing against each other. Although I can't come up with something the OP could do that could be better than something CoderHire has done..
Currencies will get stronger and weaker as times change. Your arguments are against currencies in general, not just bitcoin.
Well bitcoin is more unstable than any other currency out there.
Competition, to improve and better the sites as they would be competing against each other. Although I can't come up with something the OP could do that could be better than something CoderHire has done..
Exactly. Not really a need for competition as there's nothing that CH is abusing/could be doing better.
If CH starts fucking up, then I'm all for an alternative, but until then I'm sticking with what I know.
