Oh hey you're still alive and still completely negative! As for facepunch threads I am pretty retarded on here because I can't explain anything over FP that well, or verbally in general. On top of that the simple questions I had are for functions I didn't understand, or a concept I hadn't grasped yet. But thanks for your input, bud. Oh and I only had about 3 maybe 4 threads this year for issues I've had, other than that most of my threads are from a bit less than a year ago.

Hi, I own a gaming community called HexGaming. I recently am moving some servers to Garry's Mod to expand our community. I currently own a Minecraft Server, and have ran multiple servers in the past. I'm just starting back up with my servers and am looking for some help. Please not that this is not a paid position, I'm crunched for money alone with the dedicated box and such. Of course, after bills are paid, developers always get a cut.

[b]What should I, the scripter, expect to do by joining you?[/b]

I don't look at developers as 'I tell you something I need, you do it'. I see them as players/administrators who can help with programming. Which then brings me to a small list:

- Be enjoyable, as we will be playing alongside each other and players often.

- Willing to play our servers, have some fun.

- Willing to work with TTT, along with an upcoming deathrun gamemode(not publicly released).

- Work Examples: Server Shop, Custom SWEPs, little additions to make things look/run well.

Depending on who you are, what you are capable of, I want to establish a community wide shop system(for use with donations). I already have a Java Developer and a PHP/Web Developer. So if you are able to assist with that, that'd be wonderful but it's no priority as of right now.

I used to run a few popular communities, owning one of the most popular factions server in 1.7.3 on minecraft (called Adventure Craft). I recently finished my minecraft server, and joined with a popular youtuber (400k+ subscribers) to help me out and get my name out there. Soon enough, once he uploads the video, the minecraft server will be self-sustaining. This offers you a strong community with a nice base, so you're not just joining the start.

We also own a dedicated box, which is powerful enough to run multiple source servers. We won't be going down soon, along with our webserver is hosted off of the box to ensure if the box is ddos'd down we do not lose contact with players.

It gives them a chance, for the few who don't want money for smaller tasks, to join a community and meet new people.

Most HUDs generally run from $5 to $15 dollars, it really depends on what it's for, and what kind of special features it may have.

Hiring Coder

I would like a game mode and map created, here is a description.

-Game mode, A round based game. with rounds and three phases: 1, 2, and 3.
Phase 1, players spawn with a crowbar and roam around killing npc's that will range from head crabs to fast zombies, combine what have you. When a npc is killed the player gets money, when all the npc's are killed the round ends.
Phase 2 instantly begins where all the players have to fight each other in a last man standing sort of fashion. When a player dies they loose nothing and wait for the round to end, when the last player remains he gets a large sum of cash. with that.
Phase 3 begins all players spawn and have x amount of time to buy gear. this is more or less a prep round. But players can not buy during any of the other 2 rounds.
Once the sequence is done the server Round 2 would begin spawning more or just stronger npc's how it would reset is if everyone dies during phase one.

Time:

The sooner the better obviously :P But I would grant one month unless you can prove its running great but have more to add to improve or build on.

Money will be sent via paypal once you have shown me the job is in working condition. Then I will send the money, as well as a bonus if you completed it efficiently and above scheduled time. :) Pay will be no less then 50$ but more than likely be more.

I am the future owner of an up coming server group called "Friendship is Gaming."

Currently we have one Dedicated Server, offline for testing (and hosts all our content from staff email through to the servers themselves, and the website)... and we are just about done making our first server (PERP).

What we need is someone who is handy with either PHP or HTML (whichever you prefer to use, i prefer if i can change it later) to make us a Loading page.

Requirements:
- A bold, large heading, somewhat styled, that reads "Welcome to {hostname}", where {hostname} is my servers host name.
- A panel in the bottom left of the screen detailing the client's steam info (name, display pic, SteamID), do as you please there... [OPTIONAL]
- A brief MOTD (that can be easily modified) that can detail some things about the server (such as content packs or rules or announcements). Preferebly in the center.
- No background is required (we have someone already working on a background), but clear evidence of simple support for one in the code would be nice.
