What have you done _Undefined. Now people will turn this thread into "Nominate coderhire mods, despite the fact that you can't nominate yourself"
Looking for somebody to make a Gang system for my RP server; it would go something like this: User X creates a via a menu it costs $50,000. He chooses a name in said menu which appears above his head (like job etc) User X can now invite people to his gang. Only the leader or moderators (specified by the leader) can invite people to the gang. If these users join they get the gang name above thier head too. User X can disband the gang at any time via a button, he can also kick users from his gang, or promote them to moderator. Users can also leave the gang via a button. There would also be a gang board entity that would show the gangs and how many members they have, and who is the leader, moderators etc. Message me here if you're interested, prices will be decided on Steam.
Creating a new Coder For Hire application, Rules have changed since last time. Coder For Hire: Archemyde Hello, Potential Employers. My name is Archemyde and I'm a lua coder looking for work. Recently, I graduated high school and have nothing to do - And, i need to make some money somehow. To start off with, I run a gaming community by the name of Riot Servers and i've been rather successful with it, with nearly 2 years of undisputed uptime, and two very popular servers. As a coder, I'm more of a backend kind of guy. I work quickly with serverside applications and MySQL work, But if needed, i can do client-side applications as well (HUDs, Effects, VGUI and such) I enjoy scripting for more action oriented games like TTT And StrongHold, and i enjoy things like DarkRP Much less. I'm picky about which jobs i take, but i am always reasonable. I'm more or less your go-to guy for TTT Shop Weapons and other TTT oriented things (Since, I've been running/upgrading/maintaining my own popular TTT Server for awhile) If you'd like visual proof of my work, you can always connect to one of my two servers and take a look around (Link above), or you can contact me directly and i'll send you some information. Below is a simple rule list of what i WILL and WONT do. What i WILL Do: -SWEPs, Entities of any kind -Any kind of information saving system (Using MySQL - Be sure you have a server ready for a database before hiring me) -low to medium VGUI work (I'm terrible with VGUI, but I'm looking to improve my skills. These jobs take much longer for me to do) -Gamemodes of a small to medium size (See payment options below) -be part of a team of developers working together on a project what i WONT Do: -be a "Community Coder" - since i have my own to worry about (you can pay me per job though, i'm okay with that.) -code complex visuals (VGUI and such) -Take any other payment than cash through paypal -take any form of steam game / Items as payment -Some more stuff (Can't remember off the top of my head, messsage me with your questions) -Website programming (Unless you have that part done with the help of a different coder, and all i have to do is link into a database somewhere) what i'm Reluctant to do: (Will need more payment for me to do these things) -Things RP Related -large gamemodes (I hate big projects that take me months) -Administration tools With that all said and done, Here's my payment policy: I'm open about payments for most things. Rather small projects (TTT weapons/items) usually take me about 1-4 days to complete, and i prefer to be paid after I've installed it into your server completely. For Medium rate projects, i prefer half and half payments (Half at beginning, half at end) For Larger projects, i prefer payment per feature (You pay me for every section i complete - i'll sometimes do half and half if it's a good payment amount) Be wary, I am not the cheapest of workers. I expect professional pay for professional work, and costs can soar with larger projects. I always offer a level of warranty for addons. If they have bugs, I'll fix them up and give you a fixed version. I will not help you with the work I've done if you've decided to edit it yourself. If you're interested in hiring me, Please feel free to message me over a FP PM, Or you can go ahead and add me through steam and talk to me there. There's a button to my profile below my avatar. Thanks for reading!

*Looking for WORK* Hello everyone! I have been part of the GMod community for about 6 years, 5 of which I have spend developing addons and gamemodes. I have never really published anything of my own except a Spray Identifier addon that allowed players/admins to see who sprayed what spray. As my scripting collection is very minuscule, I have had lots of contracted and volunteer work.

What am I capable of? General gamemode/addon authoring and modification, SQL, PHP, HTML, Javascript (w/ jQuery), CSS, Lua, C++, Java, .NET, and some Python. My areas of expertise exist in GLua and Lua (5 years experience), C++ (4 years experience), and Java (4 years experience).

What is my average handle time?

Category Minimum Handle Time Maximum Handle Time*

Gamemode Authoring 1 hour 2 months (depending on project)

Addon Authoring 5 minutes 1 week

Gamemode/Addon Modification 5 minutes 5 days

Lua debugging 10 minutes 4 hours

Addon conversion (GM12 -> GM13) 10 minutes 4 hours

Sm/med gamemode conversion (GM12 -> GM13) 1 hour 3 days

* Maximum handling times can still be determined on the size of the project and are not guaranteed. I am more likely to create addons and modify gamemodes/addons. I generally don't find myself writing full-on gamemodes for customers because they always get out of hand and consume unnecessary time. I will however negotiate with you on whether or not I will script a gamemode.

What have I done in GMod? I have been the main developer of two communities, one running TTT and the other running Flood. Rescripted and optimized the gamemode Flood. Authored a Spray Identification system. Authored a TTT stat system that logged everything from kills as traitor/innocent, RDMs, favorite weapon(most fired), most deadly weapon(most damage dealt.) Authored a simple administration system to get a server up and running. 98% finished a /donator command for automatic donator promotion. (Didn't finish due to Paypal's IPN system was not idiot proof) Authored a plugin for TTT that allowed an admin+ to automatically slay a player the following round (/addslay <steamid | part of name>.) <--Currently working on a GUI. Authored an easy-to-configure chat tag system for server owners. Developed a team system for the Flood gamemode. I'm new to Lua so things will be slow if I do all the development so i'm looking for a fellow Lua Developer to help Populate our server with great additions and fixes. I can not promise anything however I've got a lot of experience in building successful servers and communities. If this goes well which it should then you can get a share of the package profit down the line. Add me on skype: infamousmax or just message me here. or steam : maxamized This will give any developer a chance to explore his creativity and make a great server that people enjoy playing on. Thank you for reading, - Max

Make sure your funding is available and strong, and then the rest is just PR work and a ton of late nights coding things.
