I didn't say directly that you were a shity coder, I said that instead of skidding he should rather get someone else to do it like you did. I'm not saying you skid stuff or shitcode so. But one thing I know for sure is that you don't code everything you use, if someone wants to know some more add me on steam not going to type the hole story out on facepunch. Hiring a developer for a gamemode: Need experience in: Lua (backend, frontend, VGUI etc) HTML/CSS/PHP MySQL integration A brief overview of the job: I've run GMOD servers on and off for a few years now, RP, sandbox; the lot. They've always been pretty swish, but not the best. I'm [I]ok[/I] with Lua, but that really does not suffice my communities needs. I'm looking for somebody who really knows what they're doing and what I want. I'm looking for a RP gamemode - based on DarkRP if needed. I want loads of great features and everything to be revamped - even the chatbox *shock horror*. Some ideas of what I would like in the gamemode: Complete custom VGUI. HUD/F4 menu, the lot Gang system Car system Alt character system Inventory system Hats/Suits/Accessories system Stocks/Economy system Trading system Loads if great entities: Police console (receives 911 calls), telephones, ATM's/Banks and Advertisement boards Custom chatbox - use can hide some chat types (for instance OOC) Leveling system - based on time played, accuracy, profits made etc Custom jobs - Firemen, Cops etc (who come equipped with vehicles) 'Pimp my ride' car mechanic NPC - Drive your into a certain place on the map and you can add lights, colours/paintjobs etc Drive by system, press F3 button in a car (passenger only) and you will lean out of the window - allowing you to shoot Custom shipment/ammo system Day/Night/Weather system - Getting wet slows you down Damage system - Getting shot in the leg for instance slows you down Gun realism - bigger weapons slow you down / cant jump higher etc Most of the above linked into the website (thats where the web coding and SQL comes in) Add me on Steam: [url]http://steamcommunity.com/id/detectivecalver/[/url] for more information and discussion on pricing ( I have around £500 to spend )

I was permanently banned after I spoke with the owner of a DarkRP server on improving his community. I told him I can make his forum better so that more people come to it (it had 1 post which was about the server rules), so he agreed. I worked on the forum, added new sections and categories. I then began to make templates for unban requests, ban requests and admin applications. When I finished making the admin application template, I was permanently banned from the DarkRP server, and my account had its rights revoked from the forum. The owner named Temponinja then deleted all my posts and re-posted them as his own to take credit for them. He also banned all my friends who played along with me. A member of my community contracted jetboom to create the frontend of my global shop. I did all the backend stuff though, since he left that out. So i guess ley is right, i just thought he was poking at old personal issues. Yeah, It's a good idea to contract some help if you're able to. Don't go around skidding things, because that will land you in deep shit on many fronts.

Dannyman seems to have ripped me off, after paying $15 and showing him what I needed done he changed his steam profile name to say he was away for 2 months. I have taken this to the Paypal resolution centre like I had planned to if he was a scammer.

Making a custom gamemode is more than $100. Even with $100 you get the most simple gamemode. Most coders ask around $200 for a truly custom and unique gamemode. Just giving you the heads up.
