He said it's completed so I ask him could I see it on his server he replies with no because his uni block ports or something, he offered me to view it via TeamViewer or something similar but I trusted him enough to pay up and take the code he made for me. I took the code and it didn't work anything like it should have, I tased the player and he went invisible and began to spectate me, I told him this sounds like a ULX related problem so after a few hours he finally admitted "oh it must be ulx, let me look" so he looked - I agree this wasn't really his problem because it was ULX sided although I wasn't really impressed with how long it took him to come around and admit that it was ULX. He fixed it so I took the updated version and tased someone, it worked. I then tried to arrest him (as listed in features I require) and it threw up errors, he fixed it. While in jail I re-tase the player and he is now invisible and spectating me (again). He moans a bit about how it's my fault and whatever else but then fixes the arrest stick. Bottom line is, after 2 days and many rude comments from him I was getting a bit tired. To me it felt like ALL of this could of quickly been resolved if he didn't use cheats (or whatever he did to get himself banned) since he could have tested it with me instead of making me explain everything via chat that was wrong.. This really annoyed me the fact he doesn't state this when taking jobs is quite rude and makes everything much more of a hassle. Did his code work? No Did he give me false deadlines? Yes He is BANNED from the game I hired him to work in. He is RUDE and called my players 'goons' ([URL]http://i.imgur.com/OBqFx6h.png[/URL] - to me this is extremely offensive and I was never offensive to him) Personally, I feel like I deserve a refund because he was banned from Garry's Mod (the game I hired him to code for) and didn't state that anywhere when taking up the job. I don't want to begin a dispute because of all the hassle attached with it though.

That's an actual business going to advertise and sell a product. They get paid hourly, not on completion of code. You're hiring a private coder, someone with no strings attached. You pay them based on what they complete, and by how much they want, after all they fucking made it specifically for you. It makes no sense for the employer to decide on payment, because they have no clue the work that was put into it. They have no idea about the actual code, AND That is why they're hiring a coder, not coding it themselves. The employer should easily be able to tell if the coder is trying to sell his shit for too much, and if he is, call him out on it. Honest good coders will sell their stuff for a reasonable price, based on their hard work and judgement.
