Got the logo designed, sadly, I am crappy if it comes to graphics but oh, well.

I can't scratch my left leg without scratching the right one the exactly same amount of times at the exact spot, do I have OCD mr. Freud?
[sp]In case you didn't get it, I don't think they mean OCD, but OCD-like feelings[/sp]
OCD
OCD != OCPD;
most people either confuse those or have never heard of the term "OCPD" before.
See http://ocd.about.com/od/otheranxietydisorders/a/OCD_OCPD.htm
tl;dr: When most people say OCD they usually mean OCPD.
Please tell me it's without a binary module.
Yep! No module needed
Record when it's generating the path :v:
Implementing stuff like A* really puts the Lua engine on its knees. I've promised myself to adapt my C++ A* to Lua to see how well it works but even in C++ it's pretty slow propagating through the array representing the map and this is for a rather small project. There's a reason most path finding and navigation stuff are put on separate threads and generally not handled by high level scripting interfaces.
I'll work on recording, recording a demo then converting it to webm doesn't work because it doesn't show the way i'm rendering the path which is surface, so i'll change it to render.DrawBox or something.
Should I force it to stay "on ground" like I did with that screeny or just allow it to float about?
I'm also thinking of adding a sort of "walkbot" where it generates a path using criteria like checking if walking on ground which a node is over will cause you to slide and if so avoid that, etc. and once it finishes it'll make you walk along the path!
This was originally a mod I was making for Noobonic Plague before I drove the server into the ground.

(the video syncs with the music, so if you're listening to Spotify or whatever, just keep that in mind first)
Dubbed "Photon," it's designed to add "cinematic" lighting to cars (specifically emergency lighting), but I just recently added general car lighting support as well. The plan is to release it on Workshop when it gets far enough along. Right now it only supports the Impala, so I have a ways to go.
It is deliberately coded to have a minimal FPS impact and work on multiplayer, but I still gotta test it a lot more because it's still pretty terrible at some things.

It's infinitely scaleable

Two separate incomparable formats.
SVG is like raw drawing commands.
PNG/JPG/etc are already drawn images stored as binary.
Thus, like Desseminate said, SVG is scalable infinitely.
But it's not heavy to draw?
Remaking my old printtable script, recoding and stuff...

svg is actually a language (or whatever), and the files are sets of commands, like lines, curves, etc
svg is actually a language (or whatever), and the files are sets of commands, like lines, curves, etc
SVG is basically inline HTML. It's more or less like how CSS scales up, which is why web browsers make great SVG viewers.
With that said, one way I could think of drawing an SVG like he did is using a browser window and making it a texture. Awesomium is a godsend for stuff like that, but because it's Chrome, it inherently means it will use an absurd amount of resources in the background.
I don't think you'd see much of a performance impact in game, but you'd also essentially have a Chrome tab using at least a quarter of your computer's RAM. That's not at all to discredit the idea, it's a brilliant creation no matter how you spin it. Until Google figures out how to make light-weight software again, there's only so much you can feasibly do in that direction.

use tables
local encodes = {
string = function( obj )
return {typecol.string, '"'..obj:gsub(".",replacements)..'"')}
end,
Vector = ... etc
}
local function DebugFixToStringColored( obj )
if not encodes[type(obj)] then return end
return encodes[type(obj)]( obj )
end
