oh boy someone is requesting a refund for one of my scripts because it has an "error".
but he absolutely refuses to provide me with the errors. gee this doesn't seem suspicious.
edit: hey cool! guess who I found hosting a server with my script on it, perfectly functional and with no errors!

Exactly the same here:

Looked into his issue, found nothing that would cause it to "randomly break without errors", so I'm going to just assume either he installed it wrong (addon) or he's pulling my leg.
Uh, I love these:

Appearently, a guy named 'Rokianis' bought it for him.
From now on, I am stopping being kind to co-owners.
If you bought the script - you get the support, nobody else.
I don't have the nerves to constantly argue with people and ask them for a solid proof that they didn't buy the script from some random guy or downloaded a leak.

Uh, I'll be rude to my customers by not helping people that didn't buy my script (ergo, aren't my customers)?
Also, by the time you said that, 4 people added me saying they all are co-owners of some server and need help with LimeInv (wat da foq)

Was being ironic. I really, really hate people that add me for help yet cant show proof of purchase, so I'm forced to either ignore them and make them angry or they turn out to be leechers.
Kids are wonderful to deal with.
Indeed, they are.
Was being ironic. I really, really hate people that add me for help yet cant show proof of purchase, so I'm forced to either ignore them and make them angry or they turn out to be leechers.
I know you were ironic, but it's a serious matter you know.
The problem is, I refuse to help these people because they aren't my customers and I am not entitled to help them, then they tell the same thing to their friend that purchased the script and he posts me a retarded review.
Now when I come to think about it, why do our scripts require approval and reviews don't (I totally understand why our scripts need an approval, but I wanted to use them as an argument in why reviews should be approved aswell).
It would be great if 1 star reviews required a screenshot or anything alike that can serve as an envidence, so we get rid of reviews like this: (from my personal collection)

Which is weird because the guy purchased my scripts, posted such crappy reviews and now has more than 50 positive feedback.
Which raises the question: Why the hell is my feedback stuck? I asked this plenty of times, I have 20 positive feedback in total, but it says "18"

well, it puts this into context, which I found on the 'not-so-hidden' staff discussion

Maybe add for when people write reviews, a pros and cons section. As-well as some kind of reputability rank the person has depending on time spent on CH and other shit. Kinda like newegg.
Similar to this.

Breaking news! A new statistic came out today, the statistic is: "99% of DarkRP servers that have custom in their names are 100% CoderHire"!
Never work with people who don't run the server you are paid to work for.
http://pastebin.com/QL332TzY
I was never given FTP access. I took almost 3 days to make him happy because I had to upload a zip each time.
Edit:
Heres another conversation I had with the actual owner:
Me: Ok, send me the errors on steam
Him: The shipments don't work
Me: Send me the errors then
Him: There are no errorrs, the shipments and jobs don't work
The owner sounds like a 10 year old who is mad because somone stole his candy.
Edit:
Another lovely conversation
Me: You need to mount CS:S
Him: I can't afford it
Me: Just use steamCMD
Him: Whats that?
This is fun.

I sent him a modified darkrpmodification. This is the error he gives me:

Codehire is your destination for the latest and greatest hud jobs from top tech employers
You can buy jobs from tech employers? Whaaaaaaaa? And also, does this site resemble coder-launch to anyone?
Breaking news! A new statistic came out today, the statistic is: "99% of DarkRP servers that have custom in their names are 100% CoderHire"!
Technically, custom is anything that the original doesn't already come with
So in a way it's correct
You can buy jobs from tech employers? Whaaaaaaaa? And also, does this site resemble coder-launch to anyone?
Top tech employers = 5 year olds?
Considering that it has jobs by HP and others up, I doubt it is a rip-off of CoderHire.

I am not really on the topic but, can you please add some info that not everything custom goes to addons/darkrpmodification because 90% of support tickets I get are caused by people dropping my scripts in there instead of just addons.

I used to be against that too, but I'm starting to become more convinced that it's actually not a bad idea.
People are hitting the addon limit by the masses. Putting everything in darkrpmod circumvents that. What's your opinion on that?

It's not a bad system, it's brillant in my opinion, but some addons won't work when dropped in here
especially the ones with custom resources such as models, materials etc.
The bad thing about it is that people think that even if the installation desc. states "drop it into addons", everyone drops it into addons/darkrpmod
m9k weapons are around 500 files alone...
Daum... You know that you are exhausted when after 2 days of trying to fix an issue with your script, you realize that the problem was caused by Linux not handling capital letters well in the folders name.
Linux handles capital letters as a different character.
Not sure if he's serious, but you might want to check into this.

Maaaan... the fuckery I've been through because of that.
Shouldn't we be able to search users on coderhire by usernames?
I think that this would be more easy to search users that adds to us for check if they already bought the scripts, or just report them
