Fuck people who do 1 star reviews without contacting you first.
Fuck those people. Especially this one dude. Name withheld because I'm not that much of a jerk.

Oh, how unfortunate. He must've had a problem installing it and thought it was broken. Let's see when he purchased it and what version!
"8 months 1 week ago"
Uh, what. Okay, so he bought it 8 months ago and just now reviewed it for one star? Let's send a pm to see what's wrong.

uh what. Let's go over what's wrong with this:
A) I do have a right to criticize your opinion all I want.
B) Even so, this isn't an opinion, you outright stated it didn't work. Now you're saying it just doesn't meet your expectations?
C) It does work in DarkRP 2.5. I explicitly made sure it did. In fact, I nearly dropped 2.4 support a while ago.
D) A "mistake" is saying "This is good but could use x" and accidentally hitting 1 star. This looks intentional, as if you are trying to fucking frame me. What the hell?
Are purposely misleading reviews against the rules..? Surely that's something you shouldn't be allowed to do, yes?
There's also a guy who rated me one star on ARCBank because he didn't believe me that it was a problem with his server settings, but when he finally realized it, I seem to be his favorite coder.
It's kind of a problem that users cannot edit their ratings. Especially if they were butthurt at the time and realized their mistake afterwards. Surely that can be implemented, right?
It would be nice if you could give users permissions to edit and update your scripts sort of like github.
It would be nice if you could give users permissions to edit and update your scripts sort of like github.
Github is primarily used for developers who know what they're doing. If a person is buying your script, as opposed to making it themselves, they might not be the type of person you'd want making edits.

Pretty sure he meant other Coderhire users/coders, not necessarily someone who has bought his script. Like if he was co-developing his script with someone.

I'm not sure about anyone else, but in my opinion, "co-developing" can lead to trouble. For example:
- You're both disagreeing on how to code something, and you're both stubborn as fuck.
- Different coding styles in the same addon, it'll make the code confusing to work with.
- One of you is "less skilled" (and therefore is perhaps coding inefficient code).
- You both fall out for other reasons and the project ceases.
I'm not saying it's always bad, but there's still a potential, and I have seen this sort of "disaster" happen before.

Or you're working with Acecool.
Or you're working with Acecool.
Acecool's coding style is pretty much a .NET coding standard, a way that many .NET developers code, his coding style isn't hard or anything to understand if you are a .NET developer, even if you aren't, it's pretty simple, the only reason he mainly gets hate is because this is Lua, not .Net.
Stop shitting up every goddamn thread with this Acecool shit.
Seems legit :/

Anybody else getting tired with children not understanding what support means, and on top of that making it even harder to actually help them as they don't understand anything you say?

I find it funny when they pretend they know what your saying.
Is it normal that if you have script access you still get the Add to wishlist option?

I honestly don't know how you can look at a script that works for everyone else and think 'wow this doesn't work for me, what a shitty script, the problem can't just be on my end'

Not as far as I can see. Looking in the database, there has never been a grenade indicator script on CH.
Ok, thanks.
Hey, i just went on coderhire and I found out that I am banned for being an alt of Bashy which I have no idea who he is.
Adam could you take a look into it, thanks.

Ahhhhhhh, what is going on.
"The owner of this website (coderhire.com) has banned your IP address"
[editline]5th June 2014[/editline]
Could it be because I changed internet hoster?
[t]http://i.imgur.com/PK2YsJW.png[/t]
UHH OKAY?
I banned Sky broadband because they decided that the best thing to do was give 40 people the same same external IP address. Sorted now.

Ahh that would explain it im on sky broadband too, was really confused by the "Alt of bashy" thing. Should I reboot my router to try and get sky to give me a new external ip?
Send me a PM with a link to your steam profile if you're on Sky Broadband and were banned recently for being an alt.
Someone says that this: http://coderhire.com/scripts/view/1094
Uses code from this: http://www.garrysmod.org/downloads/?a=view&id=130148
And was requested to be ported and modified in here: http://coderhire.com/jobs/view/4709
Damn, if it's true then it shouldn't be so easy to post a script as developer, otherwise some people will pay 15$ for the dev. license, sell 100 copies of a stolen script and disappear.

Lol, what a perfect money making plan. Ask someone to fix and modify it for you for $3, and sell it afterwards for $6.
[editline]7th June 2014[/editline]
And he's "Trusted Developer" too.

I am drunk so I have no clue if you said it sarcastically or not.
Also, he is a "Trusted Hirer", who the hell asks for a fix of an old scoreboard and then releases his own, made from "scratch"
And yes, it is a perfect plan, he paid $18 in total and gained $54, if you ask me - that is hell of a deal.
That job is shared usage only which makes it even worse.
[editline]7th June 2014[/editline]
That job is shared usage only which makes it even worse. There was a death run leveling system posted last month where somone had someone develop it for them, and even with no lua knowledge they posted it.
