I don't know if AJ complains about everyone's scripts but I know he complained about most of my scripts prices. I agree with Loures only the buyers should have the right to complaint about the price.

I never understand this.
Why does the buyer give 4 start for something that he already knew ?
In the image that guy gave Spencer 4 start becuase of the font or why ?
He can see how is the font looking in the image and if he doesn't like it he shouldn't buy it so what is the point to give 4 start for something he knew already.

Hijacked? I don't get what you mean, if you are trying to say that I re-posted your script - if you compared the code on the MOTD I posted and the MOTD you posted they are nothing alike. I posted an alternative to paying $5 for something so simple for free, an.droid did the same thing with my scoreboard admin dropdown menu and everybody was happy with that.

And zerothefallen, I didn't try to 'sell his script' either, I quickly created something exactly the same as his and posted it on his script. Same was done to me by an.droid yet nobody made a big deal about that.

I wanted to make a little sum of money out of something I made, and you came, complained on how I was selling "something so simple" and decided to give out something similar to what I was selling for free.
Now I'm pretty sure you would get pissed if I linked donation scripts for free under the ones you're selling.

Because I got over it. Somebody released an alternative to my script and I accepted that and carried on (Note that this script or an alternative was [b]not[/b] already available unlike yours).

Your MOTD was very very similar to that of the ULX MOTD and any other simple MOTD script released on coderhire. With the same mindset as an.droid I posted a free alternative to your script.

Its called competition. You don't see a business listing a product, then see another business listing an alternative to that product for a cheaper price or for no charge to have the first business say "hey you cant sell that i sold it first".

Also, if Loures would like to provide the code that he was attempting to sell which can be compared to my script [url=http://ajland.co.nz/LeMOTD.zip]here[/url] and you will find there are minimal similarities apart from the obvious fact that they both do the same thing.

I don't want to get anyone mad, but if your planning on making money on a script, your going to have to make it more than just a general script that anyone can make for free. There needs to be a reason for someone to pay for it. Otherwise, it's no surprise that someone will just release one for free. Push frequent updates and support to make it purchase worthy. If someone decides to make your script for free, take it as a hint that you need to add more to the one your trying to sell. I must recommend to both people fighting about their scripts being given away for free to add some stuff to it then update it on coderhire. No reason to fight about this crap and get coderhire taken down for everyone because of these silly arguments.

lodat555 is right this kind of fight I think made _Undefined to take down coderhire so just stop this madness. _Undefined added a 5 sec rule so if there is a scripts that doesn't deserver to be sold it won't and he will also remove or disable to be purchased on coderhire.

What I meant is scripts that you buy for a limited time and have to extend the 'subscription' of it.
Personaly, I think it would be great for bigger stuff like gamemodes or any other script that heavily affects the gameplay.

I'm sorry, but how would that even work out in the end?

If i purchased a gamemode on there, and it had a time period of 1 month before I had to extend my subscription, then I could just give a fuck, and not pay the extension, and play with the version I already purchased for a low price?

Price the gamemode what you feel fitting. Just remember, it's on CoderHire, up for multiply sales. You won't get 500 bucks for a gamemode, even tho it might be worth that, but considering the fact it's multi-sale, it should go lower (at least that's the feeling I've gotten for scripts there, which is fair enough).

So you mean if I looked at a picture of a pizza and it looked good, then it automatically tastes good too? You don't know exactly how the pizza is going to taste until you buy it and find out for yourself. The same applies to a product you buy off of coderhire. Sure it looks all nice in the previews then once you buy it the product can be complete shit or be even more amazing than it looked.

That's where a rating system comes into play. It allows the consumer to give the product a personal rating on how they feel it functions and looks.
