The package purchases are made trough web not game so it's not possible to make hook.
you should add a hook on the server in lua to make sure a person can buy it (for example, someone is mod and they donate for mod again, return false in hook to make sure they can't buy it)
Paying for moderator privileges? What the retarded fuck.

It's their own fault if they donate for the same thing multiple times, an extension system would be good though :P
Paying for moderator privileges? What the retarded fuck.
I find funnier how most people that sell it have the description as 'you are not purchasing mod, you are donating and as a thank you we're giving you mod '

It's a way to make PayPal be on your side when it comes down to chargebacks. Worked in several occasions for me. Also AFAIK PayPal doesn't cover virtual goods (not sure what's happened with the recent policy change in the UK though)
Momo is from that Modified Gaming DarkRP server which is all kinds of infamous for its ne'er-do-wellery He charged back one of my $0.49 scripts

However, seller protection means that if you can prove that the user in case has received his product (i.e., sending proof of you shipping the product), they will put you in favor of the chargeback and not let them chargeback the money, when it comes down to digital goods there is still a chance you can win. If you have a checkbox that people have to tick before purchasing, and they file a chargeback saying "I didn't receive my product" and then add a comment saying "They banned me and I don't want them to keep my money", I can prove to PayPal that they agreed to not charging back as their purchase is actually a donation to help out the servers. It is not called a purchase for the sole purpose of appealing to players of Garry's Mod. If I have a "Terms of donating" document linked on the donation page that has to be agreed to before donating, PayPal, in some way, should always give me the favor in a dispute. I won quite a lot of times using this tactic.

I haven't tested on my system yet but I think it would be possible to change from the paypal checkout to the donation checkout. Hey, I don't really know where to ask this but... It seems like Wyozi's Black Hole Grenade only works on Windows and is messed up on Linux. Can anyone else confirm this? I tested both times on completely stock servers with nothing but ULX on them.

Don't know if it's worth posting an update on the situation I posted a few days ago, but none the less. Situation sorted out. After communication broke down with the hirer, escalated the charge back to paypal (Last resort, I had already considered the money gone by this point). Paypal got back to me this morning, settled the claim in my favour. I will probably contact Adam, or some other coderhire moderator to see if anything can be done about the hirer. It's a shit situation to sort out.
This is gonna be good. [t]http://puu.sh/auJrf/c3d40d43e0.png[/t]
got the same thing months ago...Had lot of fun too
Can I just say that CoderHire get's unnaturally slow when steam goes offline into maintenance mode. Might want to lower that timeout on the steam API or something adam, CoderHire becomes seriously unresponsive when steam is down.
It feels pretty unresponsive when steam is up too.
Well at least the loading time is not super slow as it was in the past when it took more than 10 secs to load a page. But I believe the site could get more optimized, maybe by making less depended on steam or database servers?
Any suggestions on how to handle a coder who never responds to a ticket even though he is always online/in-game on Steam? He also ignored my friend request :/

I liked how I got revoked privileges to use LeyAC without any reason or notification as to why. [editline]29th July 2014[/editline] The owner, Leystryku also blocked me from Steam.
