Would just like to point out that what I meant was for an ideal situation, which nothing really ever is. It's completely impractical to moderate every single review like that.

He can't do anything with the reputation points and it won't help him with anything.

Rep on tf2 trading websites doesn't mean shit either and only negative rep counts in there, but yet everyone wants to have the highest rep possible.
Some people are just achievers in terms of gaming and anything releated to it and getting higher rep for them means success.
For me it's just a big, fat joke and very luck dependant, well, mostly support and creativity dependant.. in addition it used to mean something in early staged of coderhire, but right now only negative rep matters.
Not saying Coderhire is getting worse or something, it's just the way it's mean to be.

But back to the topic about free stuff for reviews.
Think about it for a while, because you only take rep into consideration and not the sales aspect.

That's called bribery. In his case users don't put their review to show their opinion, they put reviews because they're expecting to receive free stuff. And in most cases those reviews doesn't reflect the opinion of the reviewer because if the user puts a bad review he might expect not to receive the free stuff that RocketMania is offering. And by having false reviews buyer is tricked into buying RocketMania's scripts over other scripts that might have more legit reviews than false ones.
A simple upvote and downvote system with a downvote threshold that makes the review no longer count towards a persons rep would fix most of the problems with reviews.
And people like to choose people with higher rep which will mean that if he applies to a job they'll hire him instead of another person with lower rep because he seems more trustable. So having a higher score will benefit you.

Doesn't really matter if its made to be used ingame or on the website, its still a script and he still earned his reputation regardless of if you've never noticed him.
EDIT: I'd also like to bet he actually put a lot more time into designing a single loading screen than you have into your numerous DarkRP money printers.

Yeah, because the general idea behind forums wasn't to share thoughts and opinions.
I did a Job for someone on coderhire and I did everything else basically expect a few DarkRP Jobs, since my Internet went to shit when I got back from my friends so I show him how to do the Jobs and where to put it and yet he stills fucks up then hours later he says well am going to TTT now and you can let this other guy do all the work and I ask about payment and he says he will pay me when the Job is done aka in 3 months and 2 days.....

I haven't really posted to what Ley has brought up because it will only cause drama in the thread probably so I've decided not to say anything back to it. The story behind that is quite big and doesn't need to be talked about on the thread, If you want the full story you may talk to me about it on steam or perhaps PM.
Secondly IceJJFish don't be rude, The reason as to why there are multiple accounts banned because they tried to log in when the other was banned, That is all I will say on the thread for this matter, I rather you guys not go into a huge discussion about this on the thread and would love for it to be dealt with over PM or whatever.

Doesn't really need to be dealt with anything other than a ban when alt accounts are against the rules, and rules apply to everybody.

Idk if I phrased myself right but what i'm trying to get across is Ley is trying to bring up shit that doesn't need to be brought up when it's already been dealt with, I was pointing out that most people will simply read check the pictures and think bad shit already so I offered to explain the full story. I also don't mind those accounts being banned honestly their accounts I hardly touch these days.
