My friend Buu343 who rigged my Steampunk Foster for a playermodel and NPC told me about getting scammed by the admins's friend. Who even runs from this kind of thing?
"Admin's friend" is not helpful, neither is a lack of evidence, or a cocky attitude.
Its pretty obvious that it is his name causing the problem, not the fact that he has an orange name.
Missing mobile styles for comment replies. Will fix it tonight.
Idk if I phrased myself right but what i'm trying to get across is Ley is trying to bring up shit that doesn't need to be brought up when it's already been dealt with, I was pointing out that most people will simply read check the pictures and think bad shit already so I offered to explain the full story. I also don't mind those accounts being banned honestly their accounts I hardly touch these days.
Edit; Can we also get off this topic?
Also I would like to ask @Adam, Do you plan on fixing the loading time issue?
Why should you care about loading times, you should be banned. You wouldn't even have had that issue with the scammer if you did what you were supposed to and stay banned.
Why should you care about loading times, you should be banned. You wouldn't even have had that issue with the scammer if you did what you were supposed to and stay banned.
Being banned doesn't prevent you from accessing the front page of CH. Which lets you do jobs even if you're banned.
I haven't been getting notification emails so I decided to re verify my email. Then this happened.

I clicked the little number above my avatar. I haven't got the verify email yet. It's not in my spam or my inbox.
adam, now each thing that you reply here sounds mad with that avatar

That comment of mine was a reply. Maybe that has something to do with it. Rep on users profile show that way on my phone as well. Pretty strange.
Fixed comment styling and put pagination links back inline on tablet portrait/mobile.

Also would just like to say I have no idea what Hugo Strange is talking about because I have no friends.
But seriously, here's how the report from Buu342 went and I think it pretty clearly shows what happened.

I'm on a roll I've gotten like 3-4 leakers banned this past 7 days by reporting them. And some of the reports weren't even my scripts I was just being a nice guy by reporting them.

Dam someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning.
On Topic: I try to check the comment tab on some scripts and it isn't loading anyone else having issues?
Hey adam is their a way to see the license the client agreed to when buying a script. I wanna see the license with their and my information listed which I could forward to someone.

None if the cars suck ass
That analogy doesn't apply to this situation anyways since we have a little thing called workshop

You could just copy that license and replace with user info if you need that, but I doubt is what you're looking for.
As far as I know, user doesn't agree to anything when they buy scripts. And they only receive the license after the purchase that is included with the download. And I don't think it's fair for the user to receive the license after the purchase.

Adam should add something like checkbox with the license information to this page before they go to the paypal page.

Completely agree - done. There's also a link next to each purchase to view the license.
Are you allowed to create a job and then sell the job? http://coderhire.com/scripts/view/1235 I know that he had full rights but should you really be allowed to sell jobs?

Although I think some credits should still be required if you resell it, rather claiming as your own code.

Even if he redid 0% he has full rights to resell it. If you don't like the Usage License, then you shouldn't apply for the job.

People do not read what they are agreeing to when they sign up for services/products provided by internet behemoths like Apple/Google/Facebook and just tick the box and continue, I don't see how this is any different.
Not saying it's bad or not good enough, it's a start but I'm sure there are better ways to deal with the ignorance and laziness of the common server owner.

There is no other way. People will not read it whatever you do, but at least now it is there to read if you do want to, which it wasn't before.

Well this way they leave themselves wide open if they do something stupid.
Oh and Adam, can you add a rule to contact the author of the script, before initiating a chargeback? I had this guy called Lenny (who got banned for chargebacking) bitch at me about how CH didn't have a rule for it.

The reason why companies add terms and conditions is not for the user convenience, they add them for a legal purposes. If you understood any consumer rights, you would know that it's not fair for the user to agree to something after they made the purchase.
And until the recent "Usage lisence" update, legally speaking anyone had full rights to dispute the payment just because they didn't agree to anything before to the purchase.
Thats even worse than the 5-minute scripts that are on Coderhire lol.
