I don't know so thats why i ask it becz i worked on a script and it took me like 3 hours since im learnibg lua and then they rejected it
I'd have assumed a 5 second script would be something like this
[lua]if SERVER then AddCSLuaFile() return end
local Sounds = {
["hi"] = Sound( "SomeSoundFile.wav" )
}
hook.Add( "OnPlayerChat", "ChatSounds OnPlayerchat", function( ply, str, tm, dead )
if tm or dead or (not IsValid(ply)) or (ply.NextChatSound and ply.NextChatSound>CurTime()) then return end
local lwr = string.lower(str)
for k,v in pairs( Sounds ) do
if string.find(lwr, k, 0, true) then
ply:EmitSound(v)
ply.NextChatSound = CurTime()+10
end
break
end
end)[/lua]
But there's a chat sounds addon on coderhire, so I could be wrong
Worst part is, it was open source and free for years. There's even a copy of it inside DarkRP!
Amazing. You all just can't stop being little bitches about each others work. It's just sad really.
If you are learning lua, your stuff does not belong on CoderHire.
I think we should be able to see our scripts, even when they are removed due to dev. sub running out.
For example, I wanted to see names of people who bought my printers but I wasn't able to.

But still what is a 5 second script?
Could there be a way to sort by ascending or descending counts of how many applications there are in the list view of jobs? I mean in the column areas at the top pictured here:

Buy the Developer Subscription if you want to see them.

6:13 PM - spykr: it's kind of in the name, mate
6:13 PM - spykr: a script that takes you 5 seconds to make
6:13 PM - spykr: no effort was put in to it
6:13 PM - spykr: it isn't worth money
6:13 PM - Simpecler: it did take me 2 hours
6:14 PM - Simpecler: T_T
6:14 PM - Simpecler: they told me to add a configuration but i dont know what they mean with that

I don't think this guy gets it.

With no respect.. You are an idiot.
With no respect.. You are an idiot.
If you've made money from the scripts you listed, why not renew it? It makes sense to lose access to things that you only previously had because of the subscription.
With no respect.. You are an idiot.
You did at least $1000 selling your scripts and you won't spent 10$ buying Developer Subscription ?
I am 100% sure you are the idiot.
Alright guys, slapfest aside;
What sort of price would a system that rewards players in the steam group be?
Say, I add a little advertisement, people join, then get some credits for the store or something?
Would it use MySQL or a module or what?
I was thinking $20 - $30, but I'm just guessing.

One was already listed and I don't know how well that went.

Again, you are an idiot to assume that I didn't buy subscription extension.
It was only a suggestion and I called you an idiot for stating obvious and jumping into fight that does not concern you. End of story.

And let me think, you did it after you posted here and said "For example, I wanted to see names of people who bought my printers but I wasn't able to." You don't pay you don't sell. End of story :D:rock:

Yes, because my paypal was empty.
And I would buy it anyways, because I told Undefined that I will be buying it regulary.
Also, I said 'for example' for a reason, I didn't have to check list of people that purchased my printers because I add them right away for support in case of troubles.
Ok, if you say so. Let's get back to the topic and stop fighting about stupid things.
A week ago I posted I was at $350, and now I'm at $618, statistics say $717 for all time.
I think sweet baby Jesus loves me. :')

Is it mostly from the DarkRP Economy?
Is it mostly from the DarkRP Economy?
Actually, $482.50 came from that.
Actually, $482.50 came from that.
Well played my friend. Either way I'm insanely jealous of that amount of money from a DarkRP script.
I've found a bug! It notified me that my Dev Sub will expire in 7 hours, but I already renewed it. It says 1 month on the subscription, but it notified me.
Posting bugs here is as bad as people commenting on your scripts with lua errors. Just PM them.
Oh ok.
Loving this website. Undefined really pays attention to detail, He even provides easy TXN id's so i can verify who bought it and who's using it illegaly.
Made my first sale today, Completely ecstatic.
I got a new dispute :D

Not even CLOSE to worth $20 or $30. More like $10 at most. Plus one is already available for less.
Someone had one up for $5. I bought it but he removed it for some reason. Never heard from him again...
It did work though.
The ability to purchase a 'Featured' upgrade for scripts is coming tonight (gmt).
There will be a limit of 10 featured scripts at a time which are shown on the public homepage, the logged in homepage, and the scripts index page. Only one script per developer can be featured at a time, and only once per script per (day/week/month, see below) with a cooldown of a further (day/week/month).
How much would people expect to pay for that upgrade and how long should it last?
I was thinking $5 for a week, but that essentially locks all but 10 people out of having their script featured for the entire week.
$1.50 (the .50 is to cover PayPal fees) for 24 hours? This then lets up to 70 scripts be featured throughout 1 week which would be a little more fair on people.
I don't think I'd want to let it go on for a whole month, as it's unfair to all but the featured 10 for a whole month.
Developers, please let me know your thoughts.
