BRB, disabling your copy/paste printers because they're just edits of your old ones. [editline]25th August 2014[/editline] You know what, I give people chances. I let them upload their code that I could make in 15 minutes because I believe anybody who puts at least some effort in should be able to sell their work. If it's shit, nobody will buy it. If it's broken, report it and it'll be disabled. If it's stolen, report it and the user will be banned. That's how things work. Bitch and moan all you want about 'this shouldn't have been approved' and 'coderhire is so shit adam must be fucking high approving this', but then look at your bank balance and just realise what just an opportunity can do for you.
I don't like bugging people, but I haven't been given a response to my problem about being banned what seems to be unfairly. I've contacted through the "Contact us" page, and got one response, but when I replied, I received no responses. I've tried multiple email addresses, and had my friend contact you, and your staff, but all your staff say they can't do anything about it. I have been unable to purchase, or sell scripts, and another user in my house is disabled. Please resolve this issue.

Hey Everyone. I´m been trying to login to CH for a long time, but everytime that i try to login CH give me the following error: This account has been disabled because it either did not own Garry's Mod, was under 6 months old, or was marked as an alternative account. I would love to check out CH. Please help me :P
It appears that your account is to young. You must have a steam account that is at least 6 months old to register on the site.
What if I set something up on CH that is exactly like the paid stuff but just for free stuff. No approvals or subscriptions, but only 'known' users like the ones discussing this here will be allowed to upload. That way the free scripts will get the popularity of CH along with the features like support tickets, statistics tracking and versioning.
This is probably a stupid question, but will scripts be checked like for backdoors and stuff. Will this just be a new tab on the coderhire website or a seperate website?
It appears that your account is to young. You must have a steam account that is at least 6 months old to register on the site.
Is it 6 months old steam account or steam account that owned gmod for at least 6 months?
I'm sure this has been asked before, but is there a way to add free content to Coderhire? Like a free section or something would be nice.
Isnt the point of "CoderHire" that money is involved?
Isnt the point of "CoderHire" that money is involved?
Well not everyone wants to do work for money.
Well not everyone wants to do work for money.
Don't turn this into gmod.org
Isnt the point of "CoderHire" that money is involved?
I think it's a really good idea, personally. A week or so back, a few people wanted to revive garrysmod.org and set up a site but it's hard to manage a project with the amount of users here, especially with the widen skill levels, so I think it would be good if someone like Adam, who has already established a website and reputation to set it up, especially as the demographic that benefits from Coderhire will also be interested in the sort of products displayed in a free section. One of the main features of the Steam Workshop is that anyone can submit, which is also bad as it means there is no standard and you have to wade through tons of shit, usually in 50 different incorrect category, to find anything you want. Another aspect is that when you subscribe to stuff, you must launch the game to get it onto your local client and then unpack it as a .GMA, which means it's awkward to upload things where you want server owners to have the ability to customize lots of aspects easily. [sp]idk your comment just sounded a tad sneery[/sp]

The only thing close to my others is functionality, but that's a totally different code, not even based on the other printers. -snip- [editline]26th August 2014[/editline] You know what, scratch that. If you don't want me to moan about anything, be it, I'll just stay apart from all the coderhire affairs and stick to scripting instead of giving my view on the situation. I think it'll be best for me and for the others.

We kept discussing the same things over and over again, since none of it was documented, therefore, we never got anything accomplished. We kinda just do tools and stuff now, and chat in the Steam group chat. It would be really nice to see it up again, though.

You're not gonna get much sales with $20.
I would say 15$ since the printers are CUSTOM Modeled and custom made....
I would say 15$ since the printers are CUSTOM Modeled and custom made....
I thought $15 at first too, but then I remembered that there are many... many other printers out there. These look like very good high-quality printers, no doubt, but I think the best way to maximize sales and income from "Stuffed Printers" is to make it the same price (if not cheaper) than the 2nd most expensive printer, "rPrint". (Which "Stuffed Printers" beats by a long-shot.) Buyers will see that they can have something better for the same price, and will start buying "Stuffed Printers". I learned the hard way with my slot machines that if I made something better AND more expensive, you won't get as much money.
On the rare case I do buy a script I'd totally pay more for something that 200 servers wont have

As you stated yourself his ATM mod has 3 custom models and models cost money for one, Secondly his ATM mod provides more features then most current ATM mods. Lastly I doubt you're some random who just created an account to say that I'm betting you're someone who actually posts here but didn't want the hate.

His ATM mod also took around 3 months to create... im pretty sure he can clarify the actual time. but ARCBank has no competition.

So there will be a free script section on CoderHire? I can't wait to release stuff!
There will be a free script section?! How does one become a moderator :3
I reckon that the forum is fine. What benefit is it by having a dedicated platform with filtering, when everyone has access to the one in the forum. Then again, what's wrong with the FP Gmod Releases forum :v:

It would be better to have a website devoted to addons (not paid) where it could show stuff like download statistics and a more reliable way of hosting the files rather then someone's mediafire/Dropbox that could easily be deleted. [editline]26th August 2014[/editline] It could also be useful for releasing stuff like dupes, e2s, models, materials, and maps. Not just lua files.
