I am so tired telling people Fillezilla is shit and tends to lose/not upload files randomly and that reupload will fix their issue.

Wait, i'm not the only person that has this issue?
Filezilla always corrupt files in the first connection issue, after that, you must restart it to delete the 0B file (Because reconnect doesn't always work)
I've never experienced this, ever, over years and numerous web hosts and game hosts.
Sounds like an issue with the FTP server.

Works for me.
I've been using FlashFXP for years ( literally ); well worth the money to buy. Super stable, enough features to still be light-weight but really powerful.
Also, with you losing files.. It could be how the file is uploaded. Certain data must be uploaded as binary, or whatever.. If it isn't uploaded with the proper format, then it corrupts the file.

Actually i get lots of hangouts with fillezilla, i haven't tested lots of other ftp clients, because i'm used to fillezilla interface, if i would need to start again with ftp, i would select another ftp client
