You'd want to say that your script specifically doesn't work with another script rather than advertise that it's fully compatible?
You'd want to say that your script specifically doesn't work with another script rather than advertise that it's fully compatible?
I understand why marking a script as incompatible could be bad, but I think you should offer both options. I can see people either marking scripts as applicable and sharing the profits together as both of their scripts are bought often, or someone could really just be wanting people to know so they don't waste their money. Then again, someone could just (with greedy intentions) mark a script as incompatible with a (let's say competing) script so that one would buy person A's script instead of person B's. So then again, I dunno. I'd love to see 'compatible with' tags though. It's great for mixing and matching, or even letting fellow coders make script packs to share profits & popularity, possibly?
I have no idea what you're saying. So if I marked my NLR script to be incompatible with someone else's NLR script, they'll by mine?
You'd want to say that your script specifically doesn't work with another script rather than advertise that it's fully compatible?
I guess it might look bad on the developer, but I think rather than marking a lot of addons as compatible, it would be easy to mark the few that are not.
Nothing would be marked as compatible or incompatible unless BOTH authors agreed.
Nothing would be marked as compatible or incompatible unless BOTH authors agreed.
Oh I see, disregard my previous posts then, I believe your way would be better. EDIT: Not sure if this has been reported or not but if you get manually added to scripts, you get notifications asking to leave a review on it, but of course you can't leave reviews on scripts you are manually added to.
The developer's i've asked have reacted rather badly so I never bothered again. Hence my previous post. Haven't asked Netheous yet. [editline]10th October 2013[/editline] At the end of the day, it's revenue, and that's how people see it. They're rather protective of monetary value.
In my experience, people are pretty open when it comes to working together. Might be because I've only asked one person so far, and the collaboration was good for both scripts, though...
Added setting for auto-subscribing for notifications when commenting/posting/purchasing/etc.
Dunno if I am still on the topic, but... It would be nice to have a system that allows you to send requests to other authors for their scripts to be added to list of compatibility of your script. Like:
_Undefined has requested your script 'Bigger penis pills' to be added to the compatibility list of his 'Get rid of man boobs' script. Click here to decide whether you agree or not.
I haven't made the system yet.
Will the cancel button on the clear notifications confirmation page ever be changed to orange :(
Will the cancel button on the clear notifications confirmation page ever be changed to orange :(
Made the primary button on all confirmation pages the red colour.
Made the primary button on all confirmation pages the red colour.
Thank you so so much.
This may have already been posted, but : The search bar should really be moved down to make it in line with the other buttons and it should be the same height as the other buttons, too.
Ok so [D|G]Piemaster69 applied for my job and when I contacted him he demanded payment upfront before any work had been done and also claimed he has 8 other pending jobs in which they had all paid up front. I think this guy may be a potential scammer. Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:58889404
Awh, I read stories in this thread of people stumbling across potential scammers and stuff, yet everyone I've talked to from Coderhire has been super lovely and friendly.

I just tried to login just to look around and I have been notified that my account is disabled. I have never logged into that site ever before, and the first time I try to, my account's disabled? Tried looking around for an answer, and I can't find anything.

Huh, I tried again after pressing "back" out of the account disabled page, logged in again and it was fine. That was most certainly weird. Never mind then, thanks. :v:
I've made the cloudflare caching less aggressive. Maybe it's that serving the wrong pages.
A while ago it said I couldn't view my script when I clicked a comment notification. After I tried to reload the page it worked. Thought it was odd. :3
I logged in this morning to see a notification saying that my developer subscription was revoked because I refunded it, but I didn't. I logged into my paypal and it does show a refund, but I was not the one that initiated it. Why did this happen?
I did it because you decided you'd just give away the script you were selling. It's pointless you being on the site. To be honest I only allowed the script you posted because I thought (as you said) you were just testing out the site, but now I don't see any point in you being on the site. You and I haven't made or lost anything from the experience so lets just leave it like that.

You could have contacted be instead of refunding it without saying anything. I didn't see any rules against what I was doing and it was clear the script I had wasn't going to sell, so I released a dl link. What difference does it make to you if I'm not using my subscription properly? You still get your money.
