You might have just a little, just a tiny bit.
http://coderhire.com/users/view/4953 Refunded my script and said it didn't let him download it, can you see if he did? It most likely did let him download it, but he's making up an excuse to get a refund but keep the script. Can you see if he downloaded it?

Assume he did. Either way, paypal won't side with him, it's a digital download.

You can see he downloaded it on your script anyway.
why do updates have to get approved when they didn't have to before (Unless I am wrong)
Some people can't manage to not upload other peoples work after approval. People we trust can have their versions automatically approved.

I'm a little new to the site, what's the requirement for being trusted?
I called them and they closed the dispute, is access regained after a dispute is closed in favor of the seller?
I'm a little new to the site, what's the requirement for being trusted?
It's unrelated to the reputation/trusted systems on the site. I meant personally trust.
oh so im trusted
thats kinda not expected
Why does my Economy script have 4 stars but all the ratings are 5 starred?
Why does my Economy script have 4 stars but all the ratings are 5 starred?
Fixed.
Umm.. Everyone is saying they're getting a 404 error when they try to download the scripts... And it's for multiple ones.
Great well thanks for providing an example so I can look into it!
Regarding the idiots getting refunds... PayPal doesn't cover them in the buyer protection service they provide because they're paying for a virtual item. If paypal do refund them after they claim/dispute, complain to paypal and explain it to them. I did that and they gave me £50 O.O
Just used CH for the first time since the relaunch. Looks nice, I like what you've done with the place.
I really don't like this thing where updates need to be approved first.
I really don't like this thing where updates need to be approved first.
How else will they know that you could have updated the .zip/.rar with no contents?
Mind you, I'm not a developer, nor coderhire staff, so I don't know if thats why they need to approve anyway...
I really don't like this thing where updates need to be approved first.
It's the same thing as with upload approval.
It's there so people don't update stuff into their scripts which would normally not have been approved.
They also have to check if the script it's not stolen or if the uploader didn't just updated someone's else script.

yeah you probably don't care since you're a skid but if your script has something that could be exploited I'd prefer if we could update it asap rather then waiting around a day.
At least disable the need to be approved for people with the "trusted" tag.
At least disable the need to be approved for people with the "trusted" tag.
or only approve updates that contain models or something, but some people know how to model, ect
yeah well, blame the scumbags who were getting approval for a script and then swapping it out for another.
Can't you just have a trusted seller thing that comes after something like 100 script purchases?
People still can't buy my scripts..
[editline]15th November 2013[/editline]
If it's broken because of the versions thing, then I can't do shit because the only script on CoderHire I have downloaded on my computer is my Economy (1 of 9 scripts), and when I try to download from CoderHire I get a 404 error too. I don't have any of my scripts downloaded because I've gotten a new computer and haven't bothered to download them...
You would think so, but we've been deceived before by people with a lot of sales who'll still try to pass work off as their own.
I assume you ban them then?
You would think so, but we've been deceived before by people with a lot of sales who'll still try to pass work off as their own.
Then why not have a system where you can apply for verification free updates and then have it peer reviewed and judged based on that user's reputation (both on and outside Coderhire) and previous job/scripts history?

peer review systems often get abused or neglected
Great... Got a bad review on my script because he can't download. And everyone is complaining to me and some want refunds. Thanks a lot _Undefined.
Review:
I wish I could rate this 0/5. The download link doesn't work. $10 for nothing.
Just another kid who probably didn't wait for his transaction to go through, and didn't bother to try and enquire about changing the review when he downloaded it.
Failing that, just a troll. If it works for them, they don't care what they review, kids.
