Am I allowed to sell something on CH that I was making for someone but they decided they didn't want it. It was for a job but they didn't want it for certain reasons regarding gameplay.

That is, as long as it doesn't break the rules etc too.

Hi I was looking at some of the codes and was going to buy one but as soon as I logged in through steam I got stuck in an Error code: ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS. Is this something that will be fixed on it's own or should I go further into searching on Google?
CoderHire is asking me to leave a review on scripts even though I've already left them.
ignore it
I'm reporting a bug that _Undefined might want to fix, now stop trying to troll zero.
Are you fucking serious? http://coderhire.com/forums/thread/355/darkrp-hud http://www.koolaidmini.com/portfolio.html He has already tried giving it away on FP, and he got banned, now on fucking coderhire?
Wasnt me who leaked them, but it was indeed me who backdoored. I was not the only one who had access to it. Old stuff, and all in the past as well.
I'm getting e-mails about people having their servers hacked. I want to know exactly which addons you have sold/released with this exploit. I also want to know what name you have as author in the addon.txt files of these addons. Also, _Undefined had better closely examine your current coderhire scripts. How the fuck are you even a trusted coder?
[t]http://puu.sh/5xAQ7.png[/t] fdasfdsagfds sorry for not including automatic texturing software with my addon This is how it looks by the way: [t]http://puu.sh/5xAQt.jpg[/t] [editline]30th November 2013[/editline] or you could just bloody ask how to do it
It would make sense to remove any references to your own community from your product before you decide to sell it though.
I have to agree with AJ on this one. I don't think you would want a script you bought to be advertising another community upon installation.
It would make sense to remove any references to your own community from your product before you decide to sell it though.
The script is literally called "Gears TTT - Detective Camera", I like referencing my own community in my work because I do my work on behalf of my community.
The script is literally called "Gears TTT - Detective Camera", I like referencing my own community in my work because I do my work on behalf of my community.
There is a big difference between naming the script Gears TTT after your community and plastering forced advertisement of your own community onto it.
There is a big difference between naming the script Gears TTT after your community and plastering forced advertisement of your own community onto it.
Would you rather I just have it say "Apple" or "Samsung" or whatever? Seems like a pretty harmless difference to me.
Would you rather I just have it say "Apple" or "Samsung" or whatever? Seems like a pretty harmless difference to me.
It should be up to the user to decide what they want to have there, and if its something you can't change easily just remove it completely. It just seems unfair that after somebody pays you for your hard work that you still expect them to advertise your community on their own/force it on them without a choice.

The model is pictured and available to see before you make the purchase. If you don't want it, don't buy it. So I don't think it's unfair, but you have a point. I'll ask my customers if they seem to mind.

Stop arguing over the fact people are paying you to advertise your little community.

It's just that people don't like you advertising your server on addons you sell them. You don't want to become like LemonPunch with ServerGuard, do you?

Because I am totally that kind of guy, right?
Because I am totally that kind of guy, right?
Obviously having "Gears Gaming" written the model isn't equal to what other people are saying, it's literally a name that means nothing to most people without any other context. Although, it is obvious why customers wouldn't want it on their servers so I think it'd be a nice idea to remove it. You've said yourself how easy it would be to do, but you shouldn't expect customers to want to have to do that.
