Not really because I stop looking at it the moment I realize they're retarded (90% of all posts). When I have time to spare and want some spare $ I hardly even use the site because everyone expects people to work for half mcdonald's wages. The kicker is that there are people that actually apply for those wages! Occasionally there's a worthwhile post but they're few and far between. This site has significantly devalued any skilled work from back when we had the megathread.
I still have people asking me to do stuff for them outside of this site, mostly previous clients who liked what I did and know they get what they pay for. They even put up with me putting off their projects for weeks in some cases because of my busy schedule. I feel bad for people who aren't well known enough for that and have to use coderhire now.
Also it's really nice to know that there will never be any more original addons released to the public. Half are coderhire'd, the other half are private.
I was just thinking of an idea to help script owners a little...
I've seen on this thread, people saying they donated a script they bought for admin or whatever shit they sell on the server. Maybe, it might be a good idea to add an option once you pay for the script like "Is this script for you?" "Yes" "No (Please search for the user it is for)". This would involve the other person to have an account on coderhire, but most people who have a server have a coderhire account too. If they do select the No option, they don't get script access, they give the script access to the person they select...
It's just an idea, not much thought has gone into it. No, it won't solve all of the children giving scripts to other people, but it helps with the people who aren't kids and want to do the right thing.
I've been gone for 2-3 weeks (not able to play garrys mod, servers basically been running itself).
I come back to a ban saying I was using leaked scripts? I'm so confused, I have no idea what leaked scripts I could be using.. I've purchased close to a dozen scripts on coderhire, what was leaked that I used?
I just sent an email to _Undefined via the site, but I'm not sure how fast he will respond so I figured I'd reply here as well.
I hope to get this resolved.

Most of the staff on here has been here from the beginning and they can remember quite a lot of simular scripts when they see them uploaded. When a simular script gets uploaded, it usually gets compared right away, but in some cases it might not. It also depends if it comes from a trusted coder (no, not by having the tag).

Before I got banned I had lost access to a script I'd paid for because the user wasn't around anymore. If I get unbanned I'd like to see this happen.

If an owner removes their script from the site which you had already purchased then you should still be able to acquire it from 'Profile - Purchased Scripts'.

Still trying to figure that out. Still pretty confused, I don't have any leaked scripts on my server, or ever have. Its all been stuff from here, garrysmod.org or coderhire.
