We as your customers expect a working product out of the box. Getting upset over some bad reviews doesn't help the case that your addon/gamemode is full of bugs. It's like me going to the store and buying a toothbrush with no bristles, not working as intended.

[editline]7th December 2013[/editline] Within reason of course, the product should work as advertised when installed correctly. [editline]7th December 2013[/editline] And your comparison is terrible. Software is infinitely more complex than a toothbrush. You can tell a toothbrush is broken just by looking at it, you can't do the same for software.
Not even multi-million AAA games come bug-free, so how can you expect amateur scripts to?
The point is people leave reviews based on their experience with said product. You don't see the game companies going around complaining that they got a 3 star review on their products. They look at the bad reviews in a way where they can fix what went wrong then hopefully those customers come back and leave a better review the next time. What I've seen is a lot of coderhire coders will cry about these bad reviews and the mods will just remove them.

Personally I take it as a nice gesture when my customers report a bug to me and I thank them afterwards because it made my addon better when I've fixed it and has ensured a better experience for my other customers. It's not really something you can demand or expect of people to wish to actively partake in the bettering of your product It is totally unreasonable to assume a piece of software comes bug-free though, but if you do get a bad review because that the user's experience with your product hasn't been particularly good that's perfectly fair because that is their experience and that's what reviews are all about.

I was simply stating that customers leave reviews based on their experience. I just don't see a point in the review system on coderhire if the staff on there keep removing them if the coder doesn't approve of it. Edit: I also wanted to state that it's childish for these coders to be posting screen shots of their bad reviews. In that time they could of been fixing the bugs left in the review instead of coming here to complain.

At the very least I'd check the comments to see if anyone else is experiencing it before thinking of writing a negative review
The way I see it, is it should have been reported first, then I'd have a chance to offer support. Which comes WITH the product, not that they should post a review containing their bugs as it looks bad, and is misleading as I cannot reply to reviews with "your bugs have been fixed". TLDR; comment first, review after. Some people just don't give you a chance to fix issues that can be resolved amicably, they just shove them in your face instead. Don't get me wrong, I don't care about the rating, I care more about the fact that i've not been given a chance to help him out.
What should we do if we see something like this? http://imgur.com/phO5mZm He says that he has a private server that he restarts often which would explain it. But the IP's are so varied.

I did. It very rarely returns a valid or correct server, even for the players I know are running legit copies on only one server. Edit: They all came up as non existing

CoderHire is really slow only for me ? Every time I want to see a script it takes ages to open it and sometimes it opens but it's fucked up.
CoderHire is really slow only for me ? Every time I want to see a script it takes ages to open it and sometimes it opens but it's fucked up.
It's slow for me aswell, but when it loads - it loads fully. Perhaps it's a faulty plugin you might be using.
It's slow for me aswell, but when it loads - it loads fully. Perhaps it's a faulty plugin you might be using.
I have the exactly same problem so I doubt it's any plugins causing it. Loading a script page takes on average 10 seconds.
Coderhire is loading fine for me.
Coderhire is loading fine for me.
F you Koz, F you. ...but back to the topic, perhaps it's a matter of server location?
F you Koz, F you. ...but back to the topic, perhaps it's a matter of server location?
If hes using cloudflare that might be the problem. Sometimes cloudflare has the tendency to run slow.
It's not only today, I have this problem for a like 2 months.
Welcome to the world of budget Australian internet fellas
Welcome to the world of budget Australian internet fellas
So website is using server located in AUS ?
CoderHire uses cloudflare so regardless of it's location it will be the same for everyone. Even if coderhire were to go down, the site would remain up as a cached version of itself.
No, I was joking that 10 second+ load times are normal in Australia/New Zealand :v:
No, I was joking that 10 second+ load times are normal in Australia/New Zealand :v:
Oh, alright. How would I know? I am not from either of these countries.
CH also takes around 10 seconds for me, has done for a few months now. Main page is fast, notification page is slow and script pages are agonisingly slow.
CH also takes around 10 seconds for me, has done for a few months now. If I am not wrong Facepunch uses cloudflare and it's not slow.
Ehm, I clicked "add script" to see what happened, thinking I could add scripts (I wasn't going to add anything anyway) and I get this come up... http://puu.sh/5ImNK.jpg If someone can't go any further, is there really a need to notify undefined/mods that someone clicked a button? :S

The only real reason to see the 'not allowed' page is by doing something your not supposed to. In this case I was just missing a redirect to the subscriptions page, so thanks for pointing that out. We don't actually receive any notifications about that page unless it happens often.
