I would have to disagree about the code looking pretty as hell
Trust me
As long as it works, and continues to work, I don't give two shits as long as it doesn't take ~30 seconds per page. I'm fine with 10.
In all honesty, I think it's probably his database that's struggling, max I/O with the amount of queries?
It's not the database as far as I know, there's just some code that's unoptimized
Is the database properly optimized (ie. every column is indexed?)
We should donate more cash to coderhire so _Undefined can buy a server that will handle his 'good' code haha.
I was thinking about the server military uses, althought it might not be enough.
When you buy a script do you get notifications about update to that script?
When you buy a script do you get notifications about update to that script?
By default yes. You can disable update notifications though.

Also I'm doing something about the speed but it's a little more long-term.

That's a relief.

Script pages load all related data on request: comments, ratings, statistics, etc. Reducing the amount of queries at this time and utilizing AJAX should help mitigate load times. As for bandwidth and general website optimizations, Google's best practices guide is very helpful: https://developers.google.com/speed/docs/best-practices/rules_intro
off topic - Why is everything blurry ?

Web master of facepunch is having fun - there were much weirder stuff like full sepia and stuff. And I was about to blame Opera for it.

Matter of perspective, if I'm not mistaken.
I think there should be a application before buying Developer Status. Too many DarkRP HUD's :l

Those still get approved, I don't think a developer application process would help a lot.

Nothing wrong with HUDs as long as it's of decent quality.
If the scripts are of decent quality who cares if it's a DarkRP hud.
There needs to be more unique ideas, if only I had some.
...Dare I say it, time to employ an idea's guy? The only time when they're actually useful.
Question: Is there any particular reason that customers who leave reviews on scripts cannot update them whatsoever?

gotta love addons coderhire took down!
Yeah but it'd be better if people werent accused of selling an addon that was already made.
Would it be possible for me to be unbanned from Coderhire?
