Paypal needs to die in a fire. [editline] [/editline] I am extremely disappointed, I thought for sure _Undefined was doing 12 days of Christmas.

Because they can't! I have had a friend vendor get screwed by paypal and buyer protection before.

Would love to be able to use em on CH. Also, I made a purchase roughly 24 hours ago, when can I expect to get access to the script?
:L you do
Thanks, but I was not referring to you. Maybe this is a sign that I'm buying too many scripts..
that's a dumb idea considering the next day the currency you used could loose half it's value
That's the exact same argument with people buying into stock markets, but they still do it.
[t]http://puu.sh/5UT75.png[/t] Lol, it's almost flattering really.
[t]http://puu.sh/5UT75.png[/t] Lol, it's almost flattering really.
My server's coowner knows this guy. What about him?
My server's coowner knows this guy. What about him?
He is leaking scripts, obviously.
[t]http://puu.sh/5UT75.png[/t] Lol, it's almost flattering really.
I coded for this guy for a while, he seemed really nice back then. I'm really curious what made him do that.
That's the exact same argument with people buying into stock markets, but they still do it.
Stocks have backing behind them and can be a measurement of real-world quality on goods and/or services. Google's stocks didn't go up over the years because of viral reddit shit, pathetically obvious shills, or the whim of the Internet user-base. Meanwhile the only prediction you can do on cryptocoins is that they will go to shit if someone makes an easier way to mine them or a country finds them illegal.

People won't care if it is illegal, also there's no argument to make it illegal. Any country who does it acts against the freedom of their citizens.
There is a set amount of every cryptocurrency that can be mined, so inflation is finite.
Until a person makes cryptocoin #341
People won't care if it is illegal
Prices plummeted when the US said there was a chance for them to be illegal. They soared when the judge said that they were legal.
also there's no argument to make it illegal.
It acts as legal tender that the government hasn't made or endorsed.
Any country who does it acts against the freedom of their citizens.
Because we don't have any of those.
Prices plummeted when the US said there was a chance for them to be illegal. They soared when the judge said that they were legal.
Of course prices will fluctuate because of real world events, the same happens with stocks. It won't make it die though.
It acts as legal tender that the government hasn't made or endorsed.
It is breaking no laws, that's what I meant. Also it got governmentally accepted as a valid currency in countries such as germany (probably the whole EU).
Because we don't have any of those.
People will let their government know that they don't like them doing what they want without the law backing them up. I'm talking about democratic countries here, like the US, EU, etc.
Just make it optional for sellers to use bitcoins. Problem solved.
Shut the fuck up about BitCoins being used as payment on CoderHire. We went over this twice already.
Just make it optional for sellers to use bitcoins. Problem solved.
This is a stupid idea because some will want bitcoins and some don't. Maybe a buyer will use bitcoins but the the seller won't. PS:STOP ARGUING ABOUT THIS STUPID IDEA
This is a stupid idea because some will want bitcoins and some don't. Maybe a buyer will use bitcoins but the the seller won't. PS:STOP ARGUING ABOUT THIS STUPID IDEA
An easy answer to this would be to find a middle-man who would be willing to convert bitcoins to paypal, and vice versa. But no, coderhire's obviously NOT going to support this as it fluctuates too much/isn't stable enough.
I got subscribed to a thread and I can't unsubscribe. Help!
I swore i had enabled stats on one of my scripts and i go look and its not enabled. Well shit.
When is CH getting upgraded from running on a toaster? It's pretty but ~20s load times are not fun when I'm trying to go through multiple pages.
When is CH getting upgraded from running on a toaster? [editline]23rd December 2013[/editline] Does that seem better? I'm getting load times of under half a second (serverside) for most pages now.
Significantly better. Why does it load ALL of the scripts pertaining to a tag when I click one?

https://bitpay.com/bitcoin-direct-deposit It costs 30$/Month (or 1%) which is significantly less then paypal sneaks away.
Is it against the terms for me to remove the tracking code?
Is it against the terms for me to remove the tracking code?
What reason do you have to remove the tracking code? If you're legit running it on your own server, it's going to use almost no resources, and it helps the developer keep track of usage. If you remove it, you hinder the developers ability to gauge his own scripts active use, you are hiding nothing (tracking script sends only public data), and the only reason I can think to do that is if you were distributing the code.
Honestly? I'm ashamed of my server and would prefer not to have it attached to my name until it's something I can stand behind. It's not terribly logical, but that is my reason.
