Honestly? I'm ashamed of my server and would prefer not to have it attached to my name until it's something I can stand behind. It's not terribly logical, but that is my reason.
You can choose the name of your server. Name it something that isn't "MueTM's "please leave violent and emotional feedback about your experience on my steampage" Server"
You can choose the name of your server. Name it something that isn't "MueTM's "please leave violent and emotional feedback about your experience on my steampage" Server"
I was under the impression it was tied to my name on CH. Apologies in that case.
I was under the impression it was tied to my name on CH. Apologies in that case.
Nope. It reads the server name as it appears to everyone on the browser if that information is available. If not, it sends the server IP.
I keep getting notification from a post I didn't even checked before and my "Receive notifications when:" is not even checked.
Same as above haha.
Fixed! Sorry about that.
Could the position of the notification preferences button and the mark all read/delete button have their places swapped on the notification page? Just a suggestion. [editline] [/editline] So here's the thing. I bought a script from a guy without IPN. His developer subscription expired before he could give me access to the script and now I'm stuck with a refund instead of getting what I had originally wanted to purchase. Is there any way for this to be prevented from happening?
It might just be me, but I've been getting clients that actually are pleasant to deal with. Are people becoming... nice?
or are all the bad ones being banned?

-wrong thread-
Some guy didn't contact me to get the scripts compability enhanced, like he told me he would and -'d me over 7 days after he told me he would contact me. Saw the -, contacted him , enhanced the compability, he's harassing me ( "says I'm an 12 year old and should 'listen to myself' ) and tells me I "moan" like a "bitch", he also said he can't change it, but he will contact the CH staff when the steam servers "aren't overloaded". Should I just report him because he's acting like a total prick, or wait to see if he actually manages to get it changed ?
What reason do you have to remove the tracking code? If you're legit running it on your own server, it's going to use almost no resources, and it helps the developer keep track of usage. If you remove it, you hinder the developers ability to gauge his own scripts active use, you are hiding nothing (tracking script sends only public data), and the only reason I can think to do that is if you were distributing the code.
Because maybe he doesn't want it in there? To be fair once bought he can edit it to his will, or is modifying code you've bought for your own use against the 'rules'? If so that that's damn silly.
If someone edits my script, and asks to fix because "it's not compatible anymore" they can go fuck themselves
If someone edits my script, and asks to fix because "it's not compatible anymore" they can go fuck themselves
Obviously...
