Great job changing the topic to minecraft guys. :godzing:
[...]And the answer is?
No, it won't be illegal. The difference is that you are making the plugins/modifications intentionally for and with the SpongeAPI. See below for more information about that.
[...] you shoot this guy down without any argument at all but he makes an extremely good point, what exactly ties a glowstone mod to minecraft specifically? [...]
The fact that the API used to make the Glowstone modification is made for and described/advertised as: - "A community-driven open source Minecraft modding platform." - "The purpose of the Sponge project is to create a plugin development framework for Minecraft." - "Sponge has been built from the ground up to enrich your Minecraft experience by allowing plugins to add functionality to Minecraft." - "Most plugins developed with the Sponge API should work across several different versions of Minecraft without needing to be updated." - "The SpongeAPI is your all new plugin API for Minecraft." #fyi This is my last post because we derailed this thread enough.
If it's really going to be that big of a deal it's not worth it to fuck around with Minecraft for profit unless you want to potentially battle Microsoft in court. It doesn't even matter if you're right or wrong - court is still expensive and they've got top-notch lawyers.
Your site feels so cluttered.
What do you means? Explain we can maybe make something :) [editline]26th August 2016[/editline]
And every time I try to click on the first job on the jobs page the navigation expands for whatever section I'm next to and I can't click on anything.
Should be fix now :goodjob:
What do you means? Explain we can maybe make something :)
About the site feeling cluttered, it's just that everything is so big and all over the place. I can't seem to make heads or tails out of it. I see your using a sort of admin panel layout, maybe have some things side by side? Maybe even something like this... I made the background a little bit grey check it now. How is? (refresh twice if you don't see the changes).
If memory serves its also against SourceMod's license / terms to sell plugins. Though I praise you for your optimism and motivation for making this site you've re-invented the wheel. The markets already flooded for plugin / addon / mod distribution platforms and there's a lot of licencing and legal issues that come with that.

I love how everyone suddenly turned into a lawyer here. I'm cheerful that there are new mod selling sites, because apparently, paid mods often (but not always) lead to quality mods. Though this site ( just like ModMountain and others had) has it's own startup issues, I remember ScriptFodder caliber sites be almost completely useless at the beginning, so I wish this site good luck, too! [Though, it's a bit bad advertisement, that I happen to see the exact same addon with the exact same description with different authors on different sites :nope: ]
I like it, I just don't like the site design.

[t]http://i.imgur.com/vYmtzdN.png[/t] Also I'm not really sure what about it looks big it just looks really bulky compared to other sites. Hopefully some one here can back me up and throw some more light onto what's happening. I know one thing, there are huge amounts of unused space... [t]http://i.imgur.com/ho6tO9Q.png[/t]
• Clean and simple UI
Sure.

I thought you'd crafted up your own 'login with Steam' button but I've just realised they've changed it now, i'm guessing in response to the gambling csgo stuff, old one looked way better.
Also you need to handle VAT if you wanna sell to EU users.
We handle it, now.
Do you just charge VAT and let the developers handle it or are you a registered company with VATMOSS paying on behalf of the developers?
I choose the second option to let the developers quiet.
Why aren't you providing details about your company on-site then? There's nothing on the website saying what company is trading as Sourcemod Market. There's also no information about your VAT certificate anywhere to be found..
Found a small bug
Actually is not a bug, I implemented the real time system after. :goodjob:
The UI is nice but the website is completely cluttered with a bunch of useless non-sense on every page tbh mainly the footer. sidebars look better on personal websites other than community/marketing sites tbh unless you're in an admin panel. that's just my two cents [editline]26th August 2016[/editline] the comments are hard to read too btw: [t]http://austinhh.info/files/7gkh.png[/t]
the comments are hard to read too btw:
Better now ?
Better now ?
not really, increase the text size and make the font-weight bold/bolder
not really, increase the text size and make the font-weight bold/bolder
Size is normal now, I cannot make bold cause user can do it into the editor.

You shouldn't test or edit stuff in production. :v: Because this happends. http://i.imgur.com/7U4oq6a.png. Atleast set the env to production.

It doesn't matter, you shouldn't use debug mode in production either, it's unprofessional and dangerous. Use a staging server nobody but you have access to for that.
