Any chance this could get a look at? https://github.com/Facepunch/garrysmod-issues/issues/2668
Any chance this could get a look at? https://github.com/Facepunch/garrysmod-issues/issues/2668
They can only do things one at a time. Just be patient.
They can only do things one at a time. Just be patient.
There's no point being patient if they arn't ever going to work on it. Hence the post here, to see if I can get an acknowledgement of it. Been "patient" for about 2 years waiting for SetModelScale + SetHull to be fixed. Theres an issue on github, multiple threads on here, I posted on this thread. No acknowledgement of the issue. I don't expect it to get fixed, or even a response but I am going to damn well try to get it fixed. So I am going to post it places where I think they might see it so it has a chance of being looked at. So butt out.
There's 456 issues and 343 requests at the moment, and from what I've seen, Willox has been working with multithread stuff lately so sit down and shut up.

I'm posting to make sure it get seen. I didn't come in here yelling that my issue is #1 and needs to be fixed immediately. I asked if it could be looked at.

On another note, Willox, did you ever find out what the cause of that issue with mat_queue_mode needing to be set to 2 before -1 would do anything?
They've both got addons (e.g. wiremod). Try renaming your addons directory temporarily in-case it's some non-workshop addons that are loaded.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7EgmIG-Q5R5Nk9WX0thNDRrNlk/view?usp=sharing Well, hope it was worth it, cus I accidentally deleted my addons folder. It may have loaded some addon because it started downloading as soon as I got to the menu. Now I have to download all that shit again. :suicide:
You do realize -noworkshop exists?
The command line parameters that gmod accepts are a public secret. With -multirun too. It's been mentioned several times in the next update threads, but few people know about it. Make a wiki page with all the gmod command line parameters. Throw in -window -noborder for good measure too.

Never hurts to ask before "accidentally" deleting your addons folder. Edit: http://wiki.garrysmod.com/page/Command_Line_Parameters
This isn't April stahp posting here its irrelevant
Can't edit the wiki atm from my phone, but dxlevel 98 is also a valid EP2 parameter. It's just known to have tearing issues iirc.
You do realize -noworkshop exists?
No, I fucking don't.
Pre-release branch was updated with latest mcore changes: http://wiki.garrysmod.com/changelist/prerelease/ It is compatible with live branch, so you can play test it on any servers, and we urge you to do so and report any found problems with it to us. Don't forget, to enable queued rendering you have to enter these into your console:
To enable queued rendering:
gmod_mcore_test 1 mat_queue_mode -1 cl_threaded_bone_setup 1 // Not strictly rendering, but it works now and will help if you are viewing lots of NPCs

It is compatible with live branch
yeeeeeeeeees

Edit: http://wiki.garrysmod.com/page/Command_Line_Parameters
Isn't there one like -dev or -developer that puts the last few lines of console output to the top left corner of your screen?
Isn't there one like -dev or -developer that puts the last few lines of console output to the top left corner of your screen?
developer 1 or 2, a console variable you can enter while in-game.
Isn't there one like -dev or -developer that puts the last few lines of console output to the top left corner of your screen?
its +developer 1, but you can just put anything with a + in front of it into your console and it will do the same thing. It's essentially just concommands at launch.
sync /siNGk/ informal, verb past tense: synced; past participle: synced
Both spellings are acceptable and both are in the Oxford English Dictionary.
You already wasted your money on that exploit [sp]And got it patched for being an idiot[/sp]
That isn't patched, nor is it the same as what I'm asking for. You sound butthurt [editline]15th June 2016[/editline]
I don't get it. What's wrong in those screenshots?
From my understanding it should allow multiple connections from the same Steam account when sv_lan is set to 1 - it sounds like that from the wiki description anyway. It would be an immensely useful feature being able to connect two clients to the same server to test things without sandboxing one etc.

Changing sv_lan live will have no effect.
You must do a changelevel or set the ConVar before the server has finished initializing. I do all my testing on a remote server, and don't really want to start fucking around with tunnels to work around it

It is only a developer tool.
