You guys mark my comment as dumb, but I get this thread sent to me on a regular basis. I then have to explain to each person that I already know about the competition and that I have no interest. I figure if I put my comment down, then at least I'd receive a few less messages on the topic (especially since it properly conveys how annoying it's starting to get).

Just tell whoever is messaging you that you're not participating it takes 1 message, and if they decide to keep asking and asking why are you friends with them, just delete them.

Right, and while I appreciate people thinking about me and my content, this has been happening with such frequency that it has started to really wear me down. I cannot stress enough that I have no interest in this competition at all. I also want to work on my own stuff instead.

One question though - are we expected / are participants intending to post regular updates of their gamemode, WAYWO style? Or should we be keeping trade secrets until the competition ends?

I don't see any problem there, you said in an artistic way, something that someone else already said, that's useful, and i agree, but someone didn't know that, and you said it nicely, that makes you a winner! And help to other people in their code

Website will be the way to go, and how you'll submit your entry as well.
Discord is just where you can chill with people, and get the rank to show off you're competing.
I've been busy recently so it's taken a little longer than I would have liked to have the website up and running.
I'm in for this!! :) If anyone is intrested in teaming up then send me a pm. I'm pretty keen with lua, so anyone with experience in modeling, mapping or anything else would be awesome
