Might be a little late, I'm just catching up now, but Alex and ertug20 have the right of it: Don't blame the tool, blame the person wielding it. The only exception are blatantly malicious programs like booters and such specifically designed for griefing. So long as Anycast has a legitimate purpose for routing traffic, it's not their fault. I don't claim to have enough working knowledge of their system, but if there is a way to implement a block on SUP's systems for malicious activity, that would probably be prudent.
Also good grief, Stoned needs some serious mental help. At this point, the best option is to probably have Robotboy issue an official statement as a Facepunch employee on a mailable document or in PDF format stating they are officially in violation of the ToS, outlining how they're maliciously spoofing things like playercount and ping, and send it along with a C&D to his server host and see if they suspend him for violating their AUP. Do the same for the payment processor they're using for their 'donations' or whatever, especially if it's just registered in his name instead of his business as it's very illegal and will get his PayPal permanently revoked.

You're fighting a good (and somewhat scummy) method if getting players on your server I don't think they'd just stop, especially if nothing drastic can happen to them (like their host terminating them, etc..).

How specific do we need to be??? If they have being told to stop by facepunch employees, why dont they stop??? They keep trying to find loopholes by constantly changing their IP and name. SP is being completely scummy and un-reasonable.

The problem is that he's too young (or too high) to understand that if Facepunch had the time, effort, and case law, they could sue him into the dirt for it, but a use of legal prosecution over something this asinine but trivial would be both unfeasible and a net loss monetarily. He doesn't care it's absolutely wrong to do it, he cares that you can't stop him.
Short of issuing an official statement and using it as grounds to issue things like a C&D to the host, there's really nothing they can do but keep banning their IPs.
And in terms of him just sidestepping it with a shit eating grin: Force makes compliance. If Facepunch magically made his servers vanish into thin air I promise he'd stop and think about it. Cops don't solve crime by repeatedly telling a criminal to stop in progressively angrier tones of voice.

I understand but it shouldn't really get you this angry. I think of it as if somebody is doing the same exact thing in my region if the region has a lot less players and if I had a game server with a growing population.
One thing that I've learned from being a network provider is that if you let everything get to you and worry about other people/communities then it will hold you back. Imagine how far back I would be if I always compared myself to other hosting providers. While I understand that this may be different especially since Austrailia has a lot less of a player-base when compared to other regions but, it definitely shouldn't affect you to a quite noticable amount let alone cause you this much distress.

I can't deny that. The sooner this drama is over, the better.
Unless the individual does something sketchy behind our network such as run redirect servers of some sort, he is doing absolutely nothing wrong and is not breaking our personal TOS. I'd like to give all of my clients the same liberty and not censor their servers because of drama without a proper and legal notice if any. I'd rather not keep repeating myself on that one.

-Tell players which are not on Facepunch to get away from Superiorservers
-As already said, block _sup maps.
I'm to tired to find more solutions, but seriously, cut their Profit. Make their whole "20 new IPs a month" without Profit, because one day, they will get in negative numbers.

I've been noticing this issue with some of my servers as of recent l, haven't been able to find a cause and it's getting quite annoying, have you noticed any similarities between the clients have the issue ?
6 pages later and we're still dealing with SUP's bullshit. This is probably Stoned right now
