That's pretty cool. What happens when holes overlap?

As little credit as people give it, having proper equidistant padding is so essential for a professional look. A good example where you could apply this is with the large heart in the bottom right of the notification. The bottom padding of the heart isn't a uniform distance compared to any other sort of element on the notification, and kind of looks a big confusing. Same to say for the padding on the left and top of the text ( I assume you plunked in a DLabel and enabled wrap ), the padding isn't a uniform distance to any other elements. Different topic - I'm not sure what font you used, but for whatever reason, your line height looks way to large ( the space between each line of text ), but I believe it's because you used some random font. You may want to look up some proper sans-serif UI font. Lastly, I can respect text drop shadows, but you really have to use them in moderation - especially against a transparent background, as it starts to look visually noisy and cluttered. You've also seemingly made the drop shadows almost an entire letter's distance to the right, which looks extremely bizarre. That's about all I got for now. [IMG]https://i.imgur.com/xk6LzIe.png[/IMG]

However based on what Koolaid said that user needed things spaced out properly so they didn't have a lot of emptiness.

finally finished the radar. added the side embellishment and the North/South indicators has a guaranteed accurate scale, and the barely-visible grid behind it accurately reflects distances. thicker lines are 1,000 units (configurable), and the zoom of the grid adjusts depending on the scale you set. You would need effects for the smoke, the embers and the fire plus it looks like it emits light, that will remove A TON of fps. I'm sure lots of computers can handle having one but I'm still a bit skeptical.
