I believe he overrides _R.Player.Nick/Name and to get the Steam usernames you just get the full game path on the client. The username is in there.

I enjoy just setting various global functions to 0 (lua epic error spam) or better still have a very very long loop that continuesly adds to a table making a huge table, usually does the trick.
Block concomands can be detected obviously if the server knows there is a specific command that needs to be sent and its not. However this is how false positives occur :(

That only works if you run it before seth and he didn't store them as local vars.

There are ways of detecting after SH has loaded. What ever he does or what ever anyone does to a cheat there will always be a way of detecting it, as said before its a constant war between the white hatters and the black hatters.

He could recode it, and there are limitations to were the server can control and read from the client, values can always be spoofed and commands can always be blocked, it all depends on how much effort you're willing to waste on creating a hack for a sandbox game.

I work for around 3 communities, all have my anti cheat. Only one of the communities were taken out.
Plus it wasn't 10GBit, it was actually 50GBit recorded from both International and Domestic.

Lulzsec peaked at 17gbit/s, what makes you think someone wants you down more than someone wanted them down? The strongest attack I have ever personally seen was 15gbit. I've heard of larger ones, but that is on threatening-huge-corporations scale.
Not removing some AUS server. It would only take 300mbit/s to disconnect any AUS IP from the rest of the world anyway.. I've heard they carrier-nullroute attacked IPs.

Whatever this is irrelevant to the topic, I don't want to argue about who got ddosed more or what limit they got ddosed at. I never said the 50GBit made it to my box, it was targeted at the specific IP but was filtered and null routed after 20ish minutes.
