I love you. Can we meet in a cafe?
Would be cool if there was actual numbers, how much these issues even affect the performance of the gmod client at all.
God damn awesome work! I'll be right on adding support for my mod.
I know this may be a lot to ask, but can we maybe have an alternate depth render target with image format of RGBA161616f with linear depth?

Where'd you get that hat from?
It was taken off of a Resident Evil model on Models-Resource.
Wow, i though it were a tf2 hat https://wiki.teamfortress.com/w/images/thumb/5/5e/Buccaneer%27s_Bicorne.png/250px-Buccaneer%27s_Bicorne.png
I agree. I think if Discord themselves aren't going to provide a way we can integrate with Rich Presence over HTTP anymore, then GMod should support it internally, with some exposed Lua functionality so Gamemode developers can change what's shown. I personally implemented Discord Rich Presence support for both of SGS's servers, with many players enjoying the feature, so I'm disappointed to hear that none of us will be able to do that anymore. Please consider it, Willox/Rubat. It's the most upvoted issue on the garrysmod-requests repo right now.
Just a quick question, would it be possible to add $flowmap?
Requests go here. Might want to include SDK sources.
Added the GitHub-request here Add $flowmap for better water , along with some SDK.
Thank you kind sir
Tabbing out of the game and tabbing back in often does something with my game. On ttt_minecraft_b5 the lava is gone and the tower is destroyed sometimes. Anybody else experiencing this issues since the last update or in general?
This happens with pretty much all source games. Best solution is to run in borderless windowed instead of full screen.
There is no borderless windows atleast I can't find it in the options menu.
It's -noborder in launch parameter But still, that shouldn't be an option in settings? I'm not sure how archaic is settings menu, but it would be nice to get a small update to clean it up, like can we remove useless shit like this? https://i.imgur.com/DeBxuQW.png
The menu code implies you should be able to chose your DXLevel, I'm not sure why it doesn't work.
Also it never happened to me, till now actually.
I think the represantion of it is wrong anyway, it's not like you can change your hardware directx version, you should be able to change software, but nowadays it's kinda useless, maybe if you really want to run gmod in really old machines or notebooks, but otherwise there's no point of having that
It would fix issues of people having to put -dxlevel in their command-line manually.
How does it come people have to do that?
Probably some faulty dx version detection method, seems to happen a lot with Windows Vista and 7 users.
Could we please get an update on this request Add $flowmap for better water
They are busy working on macos 64 bit support, so I guess they will answer it when they finished it.
Perhaps the lighting issues with $treesway should be prioritised before moving onto other shaders.
Any news with the request of separating player movement traces from player shoot traces in the ShouldCollide hook like it used to be in the past? I've talked with @Willox about workarounds, but from what I recall there weren't any solutions being planned and the issue persists
If I'm reading your post correctly, Add ShouldCollide trace method would allow you to separate these completely in Lua?
To be honest I'm not sure I understood Kefta's suggestion 100% - but if it'll eventually allow me to: Walk through an entity but still shoot it Step on and collide with an entity but have my bullets never hit it Then yes :V
