Too much wasted space on the foreground imo. Should zoom in more. Nice lighting and posing , however.
You started with much thicker, darker smoke which suited the scenario better, but since its blacks didn't reflect its distance from the camera you replaced it with this very light, thin smoke (by probably setting the blending mode to additive). The first one worked better IMO, a fix would have been to tweak its curves
