Looks like that's to do with mat_fullbright going on and off, some props like doing that. Either hit them with the physgun, jump on them, or reload the save and you should be fine
@Godreiz might be because you're placing stuff too close to the ground. Happens to me on gm_black all the time and by the time I notice is, it is usually far too late.
I'm using gm_black V3 but yeah it suddenly stopped and i had another WORSE problem. No, its none of this I used to get shadows like these as well. Everything was matched up fine so I just kinda accepted it Then I tried seeing how low I could get the fov, so I started moving the lamp waayyy further away from the scene so the projection boxes at lower fov's are still large enough Try a lamp fov like 20-30 and then bring the lamp far away enough that it fits the build
as olmate said these shadows are 100% fine, a thin enough branch will never fully be expressed by shadows due to simple resolution limits, you CAN improve shadow resolution 'per build' (at the cost of performance and your sanity) by: tightening your frutsum box on your scene, AKA edit FOV, NearZ and FarZ settings so they encapsulate your scene as tightly as possible increasing r_flashlightdepthres by a multiple of 1024 the neat thing is your shadows are defined enough as they are already, and by rendering difference soft sublamps, the shadow resolution you missed in the first render will show in the next and vice versa, so on average, you'll still get (relatively) good shadow definition
Well that's a lot of things to read and yes Piggo i did the following commands : r_lod 0 r_projectedtexturefilters 0 And i check your guide and vioxtar's guide but still didn't finish them (and it kinda helped me) I'll try it later in the evening (And thanks for warning me about losing my sanity but i think that these little shadows already made me lose my will to live '^^)
