how do I get better corner handling again? My cars just don't turn a corner at all
Center of mass is important for turning handling. Drift cars usually have their center of mass located very near the middle, only slightly biased towards the rear wheels. It seems that on this car your engine is very far forwards, which may result in frontheaviness depending on how much fuel you have in the back.
Hi, I know this is a WIP thread, but I really need some urgent help with this:
Whenever I try to spawn in something with Adv.Duplicator 2 it gives me this error:

and prints in into the console:
addons/advdupe2-master/lua/advdupe2/sv_clipboard.lua:742: bad argument #1 to 'IsValidModel' (string expected, got nil)
I tried verifying Gmod files, swtiching to an older build of the game and reinstalling AdvDupe2. Also tried googling the issue but couldn't find any help(hence why I post here)
This is freaking me out because the thing worked fine this morning and every day before.

Hm, I just put the same engine smack-dab in the middle of the center, it didn't really drift either. What else is it dependant on?
anyone got some good resources for building tanks? suspension, gearboxes etc.
i got no idea how to power two seperate threads with a single gearbox, is it a double clutch diff?

Can I ask how you holo'd the main turret armor? I can't get my russian-looking tanks to be that high-quality.
I used clocks... lots of them. You could easily do it with like 3-4 holos, but I wanted to include the gun hole, and the cutout for the sight, so it's like 28 holos.

I'd also like to know this, 'cause it doesn't seem to matter where I put my CoG, what type of suspension I use, what weighting I use, or what physprop material I apply to my tires, every car I build has enough understeer to embarrass a dump truck.
im starting to think torque has to do with it more than rpm's, like a more torquey car will drift a lot more than a car with high rpm's

yup, sprops made spherical, and i think the angular velocity is unlocked but i'm not 100% sure, i've seen wheels just disappear due to crazy physics sometimes so i guess?
