Yep but as a lua tool, as the current water mod is. However this and other videos are just spawners in the map, all that needs to be done is for somebody to get hold of a well optimized and good looking particle script such as the one in the video, and then make a well scripted lua tool to spawn it!

It'd be nice, but pretty impossible. The portal gun in portal actually connects 2 parts of the world, so you can physically be split into 2 places, valve moded the source engine massively to get it to work. In the regular source engine this is impossible, only effects can be added to give the same appearance.
Though I wish someone with more lua knowledge than me would create a well scripted one with good effects.

Works pretty well.
Time Travel mod; where you can actually go back in time, and see yourself doing what ever you did. Killing yourself with result in... killing yourself, and you go back to normal time.

A futuristic post apoc Roleplay gamemode with futuristic weapons and awesome jobs and custom models. Maybe not customizable to the player, but personal skins. And an amazing theme and some npc's you can kill for inventory like food or goods. Not like Silverlan's Aftermath RP or any Fallout related Rp. It would be it's own thing.

-Ported Trespasser models. You know, that 'shitty' 1998 Jurassic Park game? I know it's possible to port them into Source, I've seen it done.
-Ported RE5 monsters. Like the Licker, Reaper, etc... I've seen Wesker and Chris ported, why not monsters?
-Support for Portal 2 content, like ragdolls, and props, etc... I'm sick of having to search Gmod.org for a particular model.

Maybe, but some asshole might decide to get a bunch of idiot friends together and disable a server just because they don't like it for stupid reasons. Periodically you could permanently disable a server with
enough determination.

That's stereotypical... I'm 16 and more mature than a lot of people twice my age, there are some 25 year olds who act like 10 year olds it wouldn't work.
What you need to do is get somebody who knows as much about psycology as me and get them to design an entry questionnaire or something to determine maturity.

I much rather your idea because it's just a rating system based on what servers people like out of a top list. Off the top of my head I can't really think of anything you could do to TRULY harm the server or put it out. Coding it isn't the difficult part. The difficult part is getting enough people to put it on their server which would make it worthwhile. It sounds like a great idea in text, but would enough people actually want to use it?
An addon that makes you answer a math question everytime you join the server, like: -4+20(24*2)+Z where Z is 20.
Would filter out most 12 year olds.
EDIT: For those who didnt finish school, the answer is 976. Calculated it in my head like a pro. Did i mention i have 125 IQ?
