Same thing happened to me on a popular gmod server, some admin was screaming at us all to get roleplaying while we were building a stage thing. Meanwhile, the ninja hobo admin in noclip was floating around talking OOC'ly to the other admins, and when I told him to stop being a hypocrit and RP too, he asked me if I wanted to be banned, I promptly replied, I dont think you should ban me for my opinion..
I was Perm'd with the message "Try me"
The problem with the server is the players, they are too serious. Not roleplay serious, but FUN serious, the admin was sitting on the roof shooting grenades off of the roof, and everyone was just bitching and whining, while I was just laughing.
It's because admins (even the admin of OCRP) they are in their 20's probably, still act like children, and then try to enforce rules that they don't even follow themselves, and ban people for ridiculous reasons, act on reports without proof, it's all ridiculous. I think I might start my own roleplay community without all of the retarded nonsense other communities have.

Right, except Orange Cosmos has existed for quite some time just fine :downs: I know the owner (well Kaz, one of the owners), and his personality is kind of what makes it interesting to play there. You said that over the Mic, which is ALWAYS IC in most RP servers, so it would be there too. And enforcing the ban shows that they are serious about their banning, letting you go early is a sign of weakness.

This admin came up to me in the server and said take my handcuffs off I just broke out of jail. I was a cop, and I said no. He then blacklisted me from being a police officer.
Even if it may be a good gamemode, the community running it is terrible.

Yeah, you probabely missunderstood that. He prob asked you to take off the cuffs because he just got out of jail. The uncuffing is broken, so even if it releases you, you still have the cuffs.

That's not what it's about. I've allways had cops that cooperated when you asked them to do it cause of the glitch. He prob acted all retarded and arrested him again or something. If that's not the case, then this doesn't need discussing on facepunch, but the OC forums cause then the admin made an error.

I don't see why he should be punished for the script being broken. The admin should've told him that it was a glitch in the script via OOC chat. Assuming XxLiquidxX is telling the truth, the admin didn't even hint at that.

Going by the usernames they were probably kids, the guy in the first ban was probably someone who was purposefully trying to kill off other players after letting others do damage. And the second ban may not have been IC scamming. Seriously, stop looking for reasons unless you have some actual evidence on you. You lose all arguments that way.
