Some of the female citizens would be exponentially more attractive than Alyx, if we're imagining them to have been real people instead of clusters of polygons in a computer.
I never found Alyx preticularly attractive or unattractive. overall i dont pose anything at all and have dloaded a total of 3 ragdolls. GravCat Wolflink and some german shepard.

Just based off of looks, Alyx isn't the greatest looking, but she's one of my favorite female characters, she fits well in the role she was cast. When you are in a gun fight with combines how hot your side-kick is isn't going to help much anyway.

...but your saying Gordon and Alyx have a thing. Why is this wrong? When you really think of it, disregarding his stasis, he is decades older then her. Its wrong because in HL1 she would only be like 5, when he is already in his twenties. By HL2, while he did not age those years, there are laws against someone that old being romantically involved with a child. Funny that she seems a little grossed out earlier in the series when Eli asks the two to their part with repopulating humanity.

And that's not counting that the developers say in the EP1 commentary that they want a "believable and interesting relationship" between Alyx and Gordon. And [i]that's[/i] not counting that her code in the SDK outright calls her a "love interest"!.
I may not like what Valve is doing with the characters and plot. But if you are going to try and bring evidence for one claim or another you could at least see if it matches up with the developer's intent.

You've pretty much established yourself as an idiot with this post.
Think about what you're saying. First, Half-Life 2 was one of the most well-received and beloved video games of this decade, and was probably received just as well, or even better, than Half-Life 1.
Second, Valve has a legacy when it comes to making games. Almost all of their games have received positive reception from both the fans and the reviewers. Half-Life, Half-Life 2, Team Fortress 2, Portal, Counter-Strike, Left 4 Dead, they all have been met with positive responses and are beloved by player and reviewer alike.
So basically you now have placed an enormous target on your back for other people in this topic.
While Gabe did not say for sure that was going to be Episode Three, how much you want to bet this last Episode will have a story based on outside influence, because Valve was doing stuff with a focus group? I am pretty sure the deaf do not like the idea of that character already being dead and just back talk in the story, which is why we have to be open to the possibility of them bringing a character like that in alive, and inside arguments on how the story should be written and who is in the story.

I did that and said Valve left the opportunity there for the dialogue to be implied that way, so I would not take the heat for being such a pervert and making a perverted video especially for the perverts. You mean the facts that she flirts with Gordon by the tone of her voice, hugs Gordon (episode one), and winks at him before he gets in the car, not to mention what the Vorts are saying during the extraction scene linking the two with some sort of bond? Reasons:
1. That doesn't sound like gman except for the first few words
2. They probably used a chair to sit in, the NPC actor stool to get her to lie in a bed.
3. I doubt they could even find a bed like that in HL2 (For their location)

I think that is the case. You look at this thread as an example of the haters, you look at the comics/videos where they kill her off, BUT, you look at all the thousands of users that dl her nude. Obviously those guys or girls like her.
Are people perverts for doing that? Probably most, but others have different reasons. Videos of her nude that do not get immediately pulled from Youtube, have used the nude model for comedic purposes/music videos. For example there was a video at one time of a half naked combine and full naked Alyx with this song: "I don't care about your personality, the only thing I want is you in bed with me" That song is unsafe for work as woman say the rest of it while it sounds very funny, offends them, but its no worse then Family Guy on FOX. The song in that video, clearly sounded like the guy from SMP productions singing in the background. The point was that she was gross. Irrelevant fact, me and him, both used to do this lower graphic, less watched Machinima engine called the Movies before Gmod existed, but anyway, we all have seen stuff on Youtube where they are making fun of her getting owned by zombies, and her Eli or something else anyway, haven't we?
