Speeds any better?

It's all random; I can never predict any speeds for it, and when I do, I'm wrong. Also, lots of stuff is missing!

But there is something I want back from gmod.org. The 2 tabs, recent download and popular downloads, all i have now is one big tab that says recently popular downloads. Is there any way to change this myself or is it administrator stuff?

It's been like that for ages. It's like that because people were misusing the recent uploads side (having thumbnail arguments with other users, spamming random crap to get downloads, etc.).

Did you set the permissions to "read only"?

I did a quick Google search on the error, and all of the solutions point to that.

Yes, the speeds are alot better, but what I noticed is the download speed starts out slow, then gets even slower, then gets extremly high.

Garry, the new speeds are great, but I'm having an issue with uploading.
I try to upload something, ranging form 8mb to 35mb, but instead of finishing, it goes back to the main page.
I was able to upload one file :v:, but then it stopped working again

Garrysmod.org speed has skyrocketed for me.
gone are the days when garrysmod.org DL speeds were maxing out (for me) at 128KB/s, here are the days where I can DL for gm.org at 365KB/s! (sometimes hit 412!)

Everything is very slow files over 30 MB is taking 1 hour to download (well thats what it says i can't be asked to wait so i cancel)
files over 2 MB is taking 10 minutes to download

But, he doesn't post.
Usually when someone acknowledges a problem they post something like:

or
