I just thought up a great idea of how trees could grow seamlessly. If someone would go through the trouble of giving each tree one bone, like a ragdoll, it could start out as nothing and inflate into a larger tree. Technically, that could be done, and it wouldn't be too laggy considering each ragdoll would have one bone. The only problem would be the fact that the collision model wouldn't shrink or grow.

Well hell, I'm no good at modeling but I can definitely help you test and come up with ideas/solutions to some problems you have if you want.

I would certainly like to see some of the blueprints and such in action. Could you post up some screenshots or another video perhaps? Also, what kind of weaponry are you going to use to hunt the NPCs and whatnot? I can't wait to try this out.
This looks awesome, just saw it today. By the posts it [I]looks[/I] like development slowed down(but not dead). When can we expect an update or test server?

It's summer break for most of us and he's probably just enjoying it away from the computer. Who knows, come winter, things will probably pick up again.

I talked to Elijah about this a while back. The entire scope of the project is different. I will be posting updates when release candidate 1 is out... (Version 0.33). Version 0.33 will contain about 2% of the planned features, and about 50% of the planned game infrastructure... And about 1% of the win of the current tech document.

I'd like to suggest a toggle for the fade out trees button or whatever. Reason being, I'd like to run around in a dense forest, surrounded by trees, not knowing where my camp is.
Too bad worm is shit now.
