How exactly is this a virus? It doesn't spread itself.
It's malware.
Just for your information, the NoXiousNet servers are not infected as the title suggests. You will only get the malicious script by joining the fake Darkland server.

Solution: Noxious is banning people for this and the only Darkland server with the virus is the fake one.

Cool, I was hoping this was the extent of it. At least it's not as bad as the GMod 9 lua viruses which caused people to make Gmod anti viruses and such.
The Lua part just redirects you to the Nox ZS server spamming crap about unbanning people. The .mdl I have no clue about.

i had this problem.. everytime i joined a server 5 secs later i rejoined a diff one
it dced me before i could see whichone.. i looked in the files and i never saw a lol.lua or wut.mdl file .. so i just decided to reinstall gmod its installing now... hope it works..
This is not good they could do anything that want with this.
Great now Gmod has a security leak in it.
Notice a resemblence between the two virus/malware files? lol.lua and wut.mdl.

Just to wrap this thread up, Kudomiku (Conna Cook) just informed me that the new update fixes LUA file uploads towards clients.
So basically, this virus has had it's legs chopped off. It'll still function if you HAVE the virus, but you can't get it anymore.
I play Nox because Chillzone fucking banned my IP for no god damned reason. Here's why I think why, Once I was playing there were 2 echo 419's except one was spelled Eco 419 and he was a spamming bitch and they must have mistaken me for him and BAM! banned me. Ill never play on any of there servers again. Even if I was unbanned. And I've been playing on Nox for awhile and no virus's for me.
It's fake NoX and Darkland servers that deliver the virus. Update 45 also prevented the virus from spreading. It will still do it's part if you already have it, but it can't spread.
I always play on the dark land fort wars but i haven't gotten a virus or spam bot thing on my g mod.

There's nothing wrong with the official servers. There's few fake servers that have/had the virus

Azuisleet often runs a 64 player server disguised as another server if you view the player names there's like only 4 people and i often see him in there
