You've flamed people trying to help you. Here's the just of it all:
1. Computers get old, saying it could run [B]months[/B] ago is the equivalent to "My dog used to run through rings when he was a puppy. Now he just falls."
2. Intel graphics are on board graphics, it's entirely possible to run HL2/anything that starts up and you see the ValvE logo with the eye and not the head, that's another version of Source. I know this doesn't have an intro, but here's a comparison:

[B]Orangebox engine(EP2):[/B] Source engine 2007.
Furthermore, months could be an exaggeration and you might be meaning when it was running on the EP1 engine not the EP2 engine.
3. A fix: Right click garry's mod in steam, hit properties, then set launch options and add the following. If your card can run at all, this might help:

Even if this works, your graphics card will probably experience lag to kingdom come, in which case you probably should buy a new computer + graphics card all together. For a cheap price that can run GMod with no effort, try the [url=http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102854&nm_mc=OTC-Froogle&cm_mmc=OTC-Froogle-_-Video+Cards-_-Sapphire+Tech-_-14102854]Radeon HD 4670[/url]. I can run Gmod at 40+ fps at 1680x1050 screen resolution(23" monitor), so this should do you fine. If you battle back saying that yours can run it, it probably could but it's quite possible it's been damaged by heat or another external source.
