Edit: yeah deleting mah addons fixed it

I'm looking forward to the huge re-release of old addons when people have to fix them all. Also garry, is this going to be within the next two weeks? I'll have to fix a tonne of stuff and I start uni in two weeks, so that'll clog up the schedule a bit.

Writting your post with caps won't help much. But doesn't this update make you worry? About all the addons and gamemodes. What if Garry changes some functions? But I really wanna see this GWEN thing and new menu. And tons of new funtions :D

i skipped a few pages, but i thought that the portal 2 engine came off alienswarm (itself off l4d2) and that the next games would branch off portal 2. imo they should all join together again even if some features become redundant in games (like the ai director in portal or top down cameras for css) But i think that when gmod gets ported to a new engine then all models,textures and maps that dont use the latest valve file type will break and need to be recompiled. i think it would be worth the tradeoff tbh. also i think garry should maybe add some new features like blood coming from the model rather than the entity, colourfull explosions and blood that can be coloured to go with their model. The player should be able to mess with colour options and bodygroups on their player model. Maybe new types of ai for snpcs to be built off (jet plane for instance) a new set of animations to compile things on with more animation types (bows, spears, climbing, being pinned, new rifles and shotguns and dual pistols and loads of other shit) I would also like first person to be like l4d1 where you can see the arms of your character as well as the legs l4d,dota,ep3 and portal npcs would be awesome- but we are a long way away from this and i think more staff would be needed
It would be nice if Garry added some stuff he has made himself, like gamemodes etc. not props then. Actually, i guess the community can do this anyway. meh.
